This silicone cover works perfectly for the Samsung T7 SSD. It fits nicely and will not fall off. My only complaint... No hole for the activity light / status light. I use this drive in my Tesla Y and when I open the glove box, I cannot tell if the drive is on or not or if the drive needs to be unplugged. (When the drive is not responding the activity light will flash repeatably). Right now I can no longer tell if this is happening because there is no hole for the light to shine out from. I hope revision 2 of this design includes a hole so users can see the activity light.

I think it should be noted that the color is more of a sky blue than a teal, meaning it's lighter and bluer than the photo but it really is perfect. It's snug, doesn't give too much and not rigid either. It provides a grip but it doesn't get stuck on things either. Jut the right amount of protection without adding too much to the profile.

These are excellent SSD drives, but they all look the same! I don't want to put labels on them, but different colors of these "boots" do the trick. I don't take them out of the office much, but my older ones (without boots) are still working fine, and they live in my briefcase.

The Samsung T7 is smooth thus it is very slippery. This bumper/sleeve has made a world of difference. Before, my drive would slip and slide with the slightest motion (I'd dropped it a couple of times because of this) and this has completely remedied that. As someone else mentioned, you can't see the LED status light but I plan to use a hole puncher to try and cut a hole... will update with how that works out. Overall, very pleased with this bumper. Also, it still fits in the protective travel case.

The Silicone Bumper fits the Samsung T7 perfectly, the fit is tight and will not come off the T7 without you intentionally removing it. This will protect the T7 from scratches and minor bumps and falls. You wouldn't want to drop test it any more than you would want to do the same with your Smart Phone in a case. I'm taking off a star for the sole fact this case does not have a cut out in order to observe the LED indicator. (power/activity light} I'm of mind that this is an important oversight. Other than that, one complaint. I'm very pleased with my purchase

I was pleased the getgear silicone sleeve did fit my newly purchased Samsung T7 1TB External USB 3.2 Gen 2 Portable SSD (not the Touch model) like a glove. The sleeve flexed enough to easily receive the SSD and provides a snug fit that doesn't seem capable of being "rolled off" in your pocket. My in-use dimensions are about 3-11/16"L x 2.5"W x 0.5"H, minimally adding to the T7 dimensions. The silicone is smooth enough to slide into a carry case easily but provides enough resistance to keep it in place on the desk. (The T7 is so light it doesn't produce much drag either). I am confident the geatgear sleeve will protect my T7 during my use. NOTE: I also purchased the getgear sleeve for my Samsung T5 SSD and had the same results.

I like these and have purchased about 5 in all BUT they are ULTRA expensive for what they are. They are the type of thing you would expect to find in a $2 shop for about 50cents to $1.00 each - so at well over $30 to $40+ they are really an extravagance that can be avoided, unless your like me, and just had to have one of each colour - yep, more fool me for buying them - BUT they do fit extremely well and are protective of the cases they are made to fit. BUY at your expense.
