This does have a smell just got it but it’s amazing the smell is like a paint but other then that it’s good very nice and soft and had a lot of cushion it does have a little bit of creasing but that will go out after a couple days!

Pretty
Super pretty and light weight. This little carpet was bought for my cats new couch. It’s non slippery under it. The top of the carpet is soft and fluffy. Great little spot for her to rub herself all over and play with her toys. Good quality and seems durable enough to last a long time.

Super soft rug that loves bare feet!
I received my new high-density rug today in the tie-dyed dark gray color, and my first impression is positive! The color looks great and adds a cozy, modern touch to the room. While I will note that there isn't a ton of padding as the description might imply, it is definitely warm, keeping my feet away from the cold floor, which is a big plus. The 1.6" plush material feels very soft to the touch. The upgraded non-slip backing seems to work well, as it's staying firmly put even in a high-traffic area. I was also happy to see that the edges are tightly woven, so I'm not worried about shedding with my pets around. I'm looking forward to how easy the cleaning process will be since it can even be machine washed. Overall, a practical and stylish addition to my home at a great price!

cute little weirdo of a rug
I chose this silly guy for my runty little apartment hallway because his colors *clashed* so hilariously. He's adorable! I even gave him a nickname as a joke, but haha, let's just say it's like calling a really thin guy "Chunky". 24 hours ago I pulled him out of his dense vac-pack (boy they compress these rugs HARD for easy shipping) and checked him over. Mild sweetish chemical smell, nothing unpleasant to me. I know other folks have different sensitivities. I am considering hanging this guy on my landing/front door balcony rail overnight anyhow just for kicks. Edge stitching is all right, the edging itself seems to be in good order and the no-slip texturing on the bottom is adequate to its task. I have heavy duty synthetic flooring with a non-polished finish, so the no-slip works better than it might on a hardwood or polished surface. His interior padding layer has not decompressed completely just yet, so for now, part of the rug feels quite thin, in a strip about 8 inches wide along one long side. There is also somewhat of a "bubble" where one of the outer folds of the carpet were while it was compressed. I think these minor hiccups will work themselves out in a week or so as I continue to tread on him, but as I noted above they seriously do vacuum-compress these rugs REALLY REALLY HARD for shipping. If they do not, I might just pop him into the dryer on low with a few towels to keep him company, and see what happens. I expect to clear a goodish bit of fluff out of the dryer filter in that case. The other 3/4ths of the rug's interior padding has decompressed properly, and it feels just right. At full decompression the layer feels like it's about 1/8 inch thick, which is perfectly okay in my books. INTERESTINGLY ENOUGH, one detail to watch carefully for -- since the nap of these "new-fashioned" rugs is constructed in an entirely different way, unlike any other rug I've ever experienced -- it actually feels just the mildest bit *slippery*, as if I were treading on an actual animal pelt that had extremely silky smooth fur. So...I'm pretty satisfied for now with my new friend :D One star off for the absolutely mad shipping compression, and for no other thing. To be blunt - but to remain as fair as possible, I have to say that *folding* rugs for shipping is certainly efficient, since I do understand the necessities, and no shipping mode is flawless, for we are human -- but *rolled* rugs do tend to resolve themselves better for customers in the long run.

Nice Rug
The rug is non-slip. It appears to be durable, I'll see how it handles the washing machine. I won't be vacuuming it instead, I'll shake it out or hang it on the clothesline and hit it with a broom or stick. I like it, it is cushy and it feel good to walk in it barefooted.

I really wanted to like this rug...
When I bought this rug I tried hard to like it. I promise, I did. For the first few days, all was well. It was the day I started (read: attempted) to vacuum this rug that I fell out of love with it. Let me say this first: This rug magically attracts all sorts of of things - perhaps it is the material, static charge, I don't know. Even though this rug is in my bedroom, it is constantly in need of cleaning. EVERYTHING gets stuck to it. Fuzzies on socks? Yep. Lint from your pocket? Absolutely. My dog chewed a rawhide on it, and pieces of it are still stuck to it after cleaning the rug a dozen times. I just gave up. Don't get me wrong - it looks very nice, and it is a plush rug that's both attractive and comfortable to walk on. It seems well made with its non-stick backing and workmanship overall, but what good is any of this when one cannot vacuum it well? It's shag AND it attracts bits and bops... I have a Dyson that is too powerful for this rug, even without the use of the beater bar. When I use it, parts of it gets sucked into the machine, and the rug looks like roadkill when I am done cleaning it. So I said, "let's try something with less suction" - and my tiny little stick vac from Dirt Devil made a lot of noise, but did nothing much in terms of cleaning. Back to the Dyson; this time, I used the attachment with the hose. More work than before with the same result. The moral of all this is the following: Buy the rug if you like it, just don't buy the black color - and accept that "things" will live in the shag fibers of the rug indefinitely. Whether or not it is the synthetic nature of the material that attracts stuff, its length, or both; make sure you can live with it prior to ordering it.

Soft texture dark and shiny finish
Super soft. Ordered for my bedroom after receiving the same in 8x10 or maybe 10x12 for the living room. No padding under either but my dogs don't seem to mind.

Fibres are much thinner than product photos
The photos in the description make this look much plusher than it is. In reality, the rug is nearly transparent, and has a weird slippery feel to it. You can't see the edging in the product photos, but in reality the rug is nearly all base, of which it is particularly thin and flimsy feeling.

値段相応
圧縮されて送られて来て、荷物の軽さに予想はしましたがペラペラです。 写真のような厚みはなく、毛の感じももっとアクリル感が強い。 ペラペラで圧縮されていたので折り目がなおりません。

As Described, Lower Quality.
If youre about to spend $165+change on the 6×9 green shag rug.. save for a better one or you'll waste your money.. difficult to handwash, needs brushed out after due to matting. Top layer of rug is very thin and ripped in less then a year of having it..
