This 2 Pack features two Bosch BAT612 2 Ah Standard Power Batteries, which each deliver the power you need at a light weight for general applications such as screwdriving and fastening. It provides outstanding runtime in a compact size. It delivers 25% more power and more than 30% runtime compared to previous generation BAT611 1.5 Ah battery. The BAT612 weighs only .75 Lbs., which is ideal for professionals who do a great deal of work overhead. It features CoolPack housing, which channels naturally occurring heat from within the inner core of the battery and dissipates it. A: Yes, it fits in place of a 610G. That is exactly the battery I replaced with this one.

A: Yes, all bosh 18 volt tools and batteries are interchangeable. The only difference is in the amount of power available. As long as they're the same voltage (18V), you should be good to go. You can check out the specs at boshtools.com.
