From a Hair Stylist: Please Read!
I’ve been waiting a week to see how durable these are, so I’m a week and a day in on Full Shine Straight #60 Tape In Extensions now. First let me say that these are amazing. I honestly can’t believe it for how much money I spent, which by no means that these are good for being cheap. They are good for being good. There is no difference in these and other SIMILAR more expensive ones on the market and these are all real hair. There is no synthetic hair mixed in. They feel amazing and are super super easy to do. These extensions are very soft and similar to my own natural hair. I have very thin hair because I’m sick and due to illness and meds I was worried about how these would look because of my hair falling out and was worried about them ripping the hair that I have out and ruining all my new growth. I’ve been having issues with my self image because of my health and hair and body issues, so I thought hey, why not just try it??? I’m so glad I did. I honestly feel more like myself than I have in 10 years. Unfortunately Illness not only wrecks the body, it wrecks the mind as well. So thin baby fine hair, almost to my shoulders but not quite. I put the 22in as the bottom layer, 20in in the middle, and 18in on the top layer. I did this so it would have natural layers because my natural hair is severely curly and I have major new growth and thin spots so I figured it would help blend. I did them VERY close together as well as to hide as much of my own hair as possible. The only natural hair you can see is the nape of my neck, hair around my face, and the very top layer. I put about 80 tape ins around my head which is basically about 40 sandwiches. This many gave a me not only length but a ton of body! Do NOT just buy 20 or one pack of these! That is not nearly enough if you want body AND length. If your hair is already long and you just want added body, then that is what one pack is for. I bought 40 for the 22in bottom layer, and 20 of each for mid and top layers. As for shedding and the wefts falling out. Thats nonsense. If you put them in the right way, and take care of these the way they should be. You can wear them until they need to be moved up. Doing these extensions has made me want to get stronger and beat these illnesses so I can go back to work and help people the way these have helped me. I’d like to say, Thank you to the Full Shine Team for remembering the little people who can’t afford thousands of dollars on hair needs and wants. You guys have made it possible for me to feel like me again, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have no idea what you have done for me. Thank you. This is what you need to know to do these yourself with zero experience and zero knowledge. -It does not hurt if you get them too close to the scalp, but you do have to leave enough room to be able to fold the top extension up, stuck to your natural hair and sandwich the bottom extension to the hair that is already stuck to the top tape. -The hair you are sticking the top extension to needs to be thin enough to read a book through it. -It is not ok to just stick an extension in without another extension underneath it. This is why people say they fall out. -You HAVE to sandwich the extensions. If you don’t they have nothing to hang on to. -You HAVE to put a flat iron on the two sandwiched tapes for a second or two. -You HAVE to use needle nose pliers or a tape in extension tool to clamp them together while HOT. -You need to leave about 1 to 2 inches out at the nape of the neck and around your face. -On your sides, go at an angle. I’m the back, try and do a horseshoe pattern so it’s easier to pull your full head of hair up. -You HAVE to brush your new hair several times a day if you wear it down. If you don’t you will get knots and tangle’s because the extensions do not have your own heads natural oils to help with that and you will lose massive clumps from your weft. I have maybe lost only 10 strands by taking care of them! -Use Product! At least a heat protectant. -Wear it back or in a braid if you are being active. I can not tell you enough, do not let them get tangled. -If you splurge for these extensions, you HAVE to take care of them. You can NOT just put them in and have little maintenance. If you don’t do well with maintenance then don’t do them, or just do them for an occasion.

WOW! Reviewed after wearing for 2 MONTHS!
Let me start by saying, this review will be a long read, but I need you to know why I'm absolutely in love with this product and that this is not a paid review, nor did I get any hair for free to write this. In the photos, you'll notice the hair is divided into bunches by length and that some has white tape while the rest has black. The extensions with white tape are extensions that I did not use in my first application. I mistook to 20" box for the 22" and ended up saving the 22" for a future application instead of removing the 20" and starting over. I did dye my hair with three of the bunches installed as well as doing 1 wash and condition with a special product before they were removed so that may be why the used hair looks slightly different from the new, but I assure you, it's all the same hair from the same seller from the same order. See below for products I used. I have ordered hair extensions from Amazon for years now and until COVID, had usually gotten some decent products from all the different sellers like Full Shine, Lavoo, Googoo, Moresoo and so on. I'm sure the pandemic made producing and selling human hair extensions awful like every other business. I bought at least 30 different sets (1 set=full head) of tape ins between 2016 and now on Amazon alone. After I kept having issues with product quality from nearly all my purchases on Amazon hair extensions (all application types like tape, sew-in, micro ring, etc.), I started buying from Zala. The hair I've gotten from Zala is always high quality, true to length, thick to the ends, 100% human hair, but I'm a diva on a budget, hence the reason I do my own hair and Zala hair costs at least 50-60% more on average than the pricier extensions on Amazon. So, about this hair: it is without a doubt 100% human hair that is thick, bouncy, lustrous and silky. I am aware of the different things sellers do to make their hair appear of better quality/quantity than it is, from using chemical treatments that improve texture and color to mixing in fibers that look human to make the hair appear full. I do believe all hair extensions are "doctored" in some way, but not equally. These extensions are also 3/4" longer than the length they are labeled as, true with all 4 lengths I purchased for this set, which is amazing being that most stylists cut and shape hair to blend with the client's hair after installing anyway. I waited to review this hair until after I had worn mine for about 2 months as most hair looks and feels great at first, but some, after a few washes, turns ratty and dull. This hair did not do that. I do take care of my extensions by only brushing when dry, starting from the bottom moving up to detangle the ends first or combing with a wide tooth comb if wet in the same manner. I condition the hair promptly after using shampoo with a deep conditioner. I rarely blow dry or use flat irons. I always sleep with my hair up in a bun. I do use clarifying shampoo every other week on the bonds/roots only because my scalp has a tendency to get irritated if not washed thoroughly around the bonds and this removes all oil build-up from the area that could cause the bonds to slip. This and any type of shampoo along with just daily wear will eventually dry the hair out. Be sure to take time to deep condition every strand each time you wash it. Use a comb if it's easier. Just be thorough! At one point, I noticed my natural hair had more of reddish tint than the extensions so I used a Clairol Natural Instincts black to even the color difference. I'll only use semi permanent dyes on extensions to minimize damage. The hair maintained its soft, lustrous appearance and texture after coloring and again blended beautifully with my own hair. The last wash before I removed this set, I used Silicon Mix (shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner and shine serum) as it is known to revive extensions. These were starting to feel slightly dry and began to tangle a little so I felt it was worth a try and it did work well on this hair. I believe that combined with the coloring is why my used extensions are shinier and the black appears deeper than the unused bunch. I have applied new tape to the used extensions which was so easy! For tape that holds exceptionally well, it was also very easy to remove the old tape from the weft to apply the new. I used Big Kizzy's Remove and Reuse spray to remove the bonds from my hair. I usually end up with a lot of residue in my hair and have to use half a bottle of Big Kizzy Residue Remover to get all the sticky ick (and sometimes whole pieces of tape) out of my hair, but there really was *a lot* less than I'm used to and only had to wash my hair twice after using the Residue Remover. Each box of 50g does come with a little package of replacement tape, but not enough for each piece. If I could find out how to get this tape, I'd gladly buy more! So, to summarize, I am very happy with my most recent purchase of Full Shine Tape Ins. It's beautiful human hair that stays silky and stays in place when installed on clean hair. It is full to the ends, blends seamlessly with my fine hair natural type. It has a cute soft wave pattern after washing when drying naturally. It doesn't tangle as easily as many hair extension sets I've had as long as it is properly cared for and conditioned. It is true to length with actual length being .75" longer than advertised. I purchased these extensions while there were some generous coupons available and was so happy with them, especially when I got such a good deal! I will be buying more when I'm done with these! Thank you for the awesome products!

Worst batch purchased thus far straight out of box, so many split ends and tangles a week later....
Return Customer here: With this recent order which was recieved on June 25th I have to give 1 star if that. I have contacted the company directly regarding the issue with the product purchased, and have not had communication in days to solve the issue. Essentially, I have purchased these extensions before ad did have a few split ends and tangles, but it didnt START to tangle or get dry on the ends until around 6 weeks or so. I didnt have to replace the full set for roughly 2 months which was great and I believe pretty typical. With this batch however, straight out of the box there were SOOOOO MANY split ends I spent about an hour going through them snipping off the tips, and still was not done. I have had these in since June 27th, and that makes close to a 4 weeks and these have been tangled since day 4 of application. I used bondbar bonding kit to help with teh split ends and that did make a difference, however not enough of one. Right now, they essentially need to be replaced again, with 2 inches of hair at the ends are already crispy, need to be trimmed atleast 2 times a week for plit ends. I dont use much heat on the ends at all, rarely straighten and blowdrying is typically at the scalp only with cold air. I have sent into the company askingn for some sort of solution and am still waiting for a reply. I normally purchased the 26inch for this reason, but the 26in set were way too expensive especially for the quality I have experienced. I will say that if you are in a bind and need soemthing, these will do, but be prepared to replace them within 5 weeks unless I recieved a really bad set?? I would love to hear back from the company regarding what solution they can come up with and based on that I would be willing to come back and write a follow up on this review.

Beautiful hair!
Ok so I read reviews on a ton of different brands of tape ins before deciding on these. I wanted good quality that didn't break the bank. I think I succeeded! Let me answer some of the questions that I know I had when I was trying to choose... Length/number of packs : I wanted my hair to be over halfway down my back.. Past the bra strap area, but not all the way to my butt. I ordered two different lengths, 22 inch and 18 inch, because it saved a little money and I know my stylist would be cutting alot of them to layer it and blend into my natural hair. The 22 inch was exactly what I wanted, it hit right around my lower back. I ordered 2 packs of each, total of 4 packs, but my stylist only ended up needing 3 packs total so I still had a whole unused pack for next time. Quality of the hair and tape: the hair arrived beautifully packaged with netting around the bundle to prevent tangling during transit. I was so impressed with the hair itself, it is so soft, shiny, the color was exactly as pictured, and it didn't shed from the tapes. The tape itself was good, it held in place in my hair well. My only complaint is that the tapes were not "invisible"... If someone looked closely and my hair was moving around, they could be seen. But I learned how to style it to prevent that. Durability over time : I kept these tape ins in my hair for almost 8 weeks. I did my best to take care of them properly, I braided my hair at night to sleep, I used sulfate free shampoo/conditioner, washed my hair 1-2 times a week, and hydrated my hair from the middle to the ends every day with a lightweight hair oil. However I also was a little rough on them, as I used a hair straightener on my hair 5-6 days a week, and I dyed my hair a couple of times. Overall these extensions held up very well! I had to learn which products worked best for them though. After about 3 weeks I noticed three extensions were looking a little rough, dry, more frizz than I liked. But I tried a few different conditioners and leave in products, and I found that if I apply a generous amount of hair oil at night (the one I use has multiple types of oil in it), avoiding my scalp and roots so the oil didn't get on the tapes, and braid it right after applying oil, go to bed, and when I unbraided in the morning my hair would be smooth and shiny. This improved the frizz and dryness so much, and I was happy with them again. They also took the hair dye well, I dyed them silvery pastel almost gray at one point and then a fairly bright purple. They looked great in any color! I attached pictures of each. After about 7 weeks my tapes had grown out to a point that they were not able to be hidden well anymore and several of them were coming loose, although not falling out. At almost 8 weeks I decided to take them out, which I did on my own at home. Taking them out took a long time because I needed to remove all the adhesive without damaging my real hair, but I did it and my natural hair did not seem damaged at all. Overall I am very satisfied with these extensions! I am currently deciding on new ones to buy and I will definitely buy from full shine again. I may go with fusion or u tip though, instead of tape, as I've had u tip before and I loved the fact that you could not see anything at all to give away that it wasn't your own hair. With u tip I was also able to put my hair into basically any type of ponytail, bun, ect, and you never saw anything that looked unnatural. However with the tapes, I couldn't pull my hair up into any kind of high ponytail or style without the tapes showing. But with either choice, tape in or u tip, full shine is an excellent brand to choose! And if you have actually stayed this long to read this insanely long review, you rock!! Lol hope this helped!

Color is nothing like photo- more strawberry to apricot/honey blond
So far I like these. I struggled with finding the right color, and my first attempt was a fail – the color was wrong and I installed per direction a and the tape-ins were too heavy for my head and have me a neck ache. Then I discovered single sided tape, which is awesome if you have fine hair or a sensitive scalp or if you just don’t like excessive weight on your head, which is my case – I have fine hair but a lot of it, but I don’t like the feeling of extensions- single sided tape is a game changer and I think it looks more natural- on the sides especially. I actually took them out after a couple weeks and reinstalled because I realized that I liked the sandwich method for the bottom two rows as it makes it look fuller at the ends, but then single sided tape everywhere else works will. The only problem is the single sided tape isn’t heavy and I do find that the tapes curl a little bit. The sandwiched ones don’t so this. So not perfect. The color of these med golden blond extensions are not like the photo are all imo. They are more of a golden blonde with a slight strawberry hue at the root, and the ends fade to an apricot like blonde. I found that the 14 inch ones have more of a blush tone at the root and the 16 inch ones are a little darker and a bit brassy/more copper toned are the root. I think this is not a bad thing since the longer ones are worn in the back where the hair is a little bit darker anyway. at first I was afraid these would not match but I toned my hair with redken shades, EQ, and mixed a bit of 9GB, 9AA and 10 AA on my roots and mids and then 10 AA on my money piece area and the very blonde pieces around my face – it matches the extensions very well. Definitely the extensions have more apricot tones. However, if your flat iron is too hot, it will discolor the extensions. When I sealed one of them with my flat iron, I had my iron on about 350, ( I just forgot to turn it down). The extension turned yellow blonde where the flat iron sat, and there is a stripe on it. Lower heat didn’t seem to bother them though. Time will tell how they hold up. Just a couple tips that I have discovered over the past few weeks. I haven’t had any problems with tangling, but I use the leave in conditioner, Its a 10. I’m just careful not to spray it on the tapes. And I use one of those tangle teaser brushes. I love those brushes and they work really well with the extensions wet or dry. I highly recommend. I did find that a lot of them came out when I shampooed once and accidentally got conditioner near the tapes. Even though I didn’t let the conditioner sit long, half of them came out, so that was a mistake on my part. I used a different tape when re-taping them and I think it holds a little bit better. Overall, this is really my first experience with tape ins. I’m not that crazy about the color or the texture after they’ve been washed. The get very curly frizzy which my hair is already curly- and I do think that because the extensions are curly it makes it harder to style the hair or to let it dry with less heat. Previously I was using clippins from Lavoo, and I liked their colors better because they looked more natural. The hair isn’t as glossy as this brand, but I think that the super glossy finish makes it look artificial, and they actually look a little more natural after you’ve washed them. Lavoo doesn’t have the right color for me though. I ordered another brand that have the invisible tapes where it’s hair instead of tape because these ones are really hard to hide when placed high up. They used kind of a dark plastic for how blonde the weft is. There are lighter plastics available, as I ordered some from another brand and they were literally identical in color, but they use lighter plastic tabs. I didn’t notice these had such dark plastic or I probably would’ve kept the other ones had I realized. and because I chose a length significantly longer than my natural hair. I have to go up high to blend it and I actually have a lot of hair, but it’s fine and sometimes you can see the tapes which is not good so I couldn’t go as high as I wanted to go and it’s made it a bit difficult to blend it with my natural hair. I’m hoping the invisible ones I ordered from a different company will solve that problem, but they were definitely more expensive, like nearly twice as expensive. Fingers crossed!

I'm in love! I'll never be without these extensions ever again!!
Wow!! I will never NOT have these extensions in. The color is an exact match! I used a photo of me to match the color, not a mirror. I put them in myself with no experience. I've never had extensions before...and that part of my life is over...lol. I burnt off a chunk of hair in a bleaching disaster about a month and a half ago. That's why I started looking for options to fill that super short spot. It's on the top of my head, from the front by my face to the back. I've been stressed and self conscious, but I feel so good rn, and I'm not even done. I filled the spot and it looks so good, that I'm going to do my whole head. I bought 2 boxes to start and it's more than enough for what I needed. But I just ordered 2 more to do the rest of my head. My plan was originally to cut them to match my length, but the 12" strips give a beautiful length that blends so well with my shorter hair. The price was so good on the 12" so that's why I got those, not the 10", which would probably match my natural length really closely. So for reference, the damaged hair is maybe 1.5" long. I wanted the other extensions, tip, I think. But the short hairs made me nervous they'd slip out. The tape is perfect and does not move. They feel comfortable too! I feel like I just have beautiful, soft, shiny, healthy hair again. I'm honestly so grateful. I can't say enough good things. I've already recommended this to my daughter, mom, and sister. Everyone should know about this affordable, easy, gorgeous option! Get them! Trust me. You will feel the same as me. I just want to thank this manufacturer for saving my hair. I am so excited to finish my whole head and try even longer extensions in the future, but this length is so pretty and so inexpensive! 20 pieces for $11 is awesome. And I can buy a box of 2 whenever to add more volume if I want. But I really think 4 boxes will completely fill my head. I might have extra. Also, bc I'm so new to this, I placed the first 2 in the wrong spot. Removing them was easy, too. Instead of buying remover, I found a video using rubbing alcohol and coconut oil. The alcohol made the glue stop sticking and I dipped a q-tip in coconut oil, slipped it between the strips and worked it through. I lost no hair! No need to buy the removal oil. I'll load a couple pix, but I know it's going to look amazing once I'm completely done. And I slept in them, no issues there either. I'm in love!!! **(Updated since finishing)In the photos, you can see the progression as I added them. The first couple photos only have 1 box in. **I didn't have the pliers at the beginning. I got them to finish. They are staying in really well, and I had to move a few. I used rubbing alcohol and coconut oil to remove with ease. I washed the hair that had the oil, dried it, replaced the tape, and moved the extension. Super easy and I'm a first timer! **I lifted the hair to show the damaged part of my natural hair with the extensions put in. That hair is so short, like I said, maybe an inch and a half. I slept in them with no issues. All I did was brush my hair that first morning. This is going to save so much time! And without all the products and heat to further damage my natural hair...literal life changing! **Since it's been a few days with them in, I'll say I love them just as much. I ended up buying 4 boxes in total and using them all. I don't think any more would be needed. The hair feels amazing, very full, thick, soft, and natural. It looks like it did when I was a teenager before I started damaging my hair. I just love them so much!

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I tried to buy some that were more affordable and went with this brand and you get what you pay for. THE COLOR IS WAY OFF TOO. I’ve never had extensions not match my hair. They’re thin and they shed. I have straight with a slight wave hair and they don’t even blend with me in with my texture. Literally just looks like plastic Barbie hair under my real hair. It doesn’t react to toner and hair products like my other extensions have in the past. I’ve never had extensions I bought and regret it. I’ve been wearing extensions on and off for over 15 years. THESE AINT IT. Honestly, I think that any hair that you can get on Amazon’s not gonna be good quality. I thought that I could find good quality here on Amazon to try to save some money and I am very dissatisfied. Because I also ordered from other vendors on here and same thing.

You need extensions by these ones I’ll tell you why!
There’s so many reasons that I love these extensions first of all the colour and quality are amazing. It’s so hard finding a blonde that doesn’t look yellow colour 1000 is simply amazing. That’s number one number two I have been using extensions for over 10 years and I usually purchase From the big companies, foxy locks, irresistible me Bellini zala and for the last few years glam seamless I love all those I liked glam seamless the most, and was fairly happy but they did tangle and they always did look frizzy after the first week and usually I purchased the clip so I can’t even imagine how it would be if I had to keep them in my hair since usually they were tangled them frizzy after the first week and they definitely were not cheap but the reason I decided to try Amazon is because living in Canada taxes duty and shipping were more expensive then the extensions !! so I looked at the reviews and I found this company with pretty good reviews. I didn’t expect much I was going on vacation and wanted to try tapings for the first time I ordered them and I honestly love them so so much they don’t tangle at all there’s very little frizz And the colour is amazing they do feel dry after about a month but nothing compared to those expensive Endz that I mentioned above. I have purchased other companies from Amazon but I do love this brand very much if you live in Canada by extensions from Amazon, please the quality is amazing. You won’t be disappointed. Stop throwing your money away and try these. You have nothing to lose I promise you you’ll be happy especially if you’re blonde.
