would this work for a new 14 inch macbook pro?

The EB-PRO-1000-B is not designed for the new 2021 M1 MacBook Pro 14" and 16" with the "notch" design. The webcam cover will attach to the magnets and cover the webcam, however, it will also cover the menu bar and app icons. We are working on a new design for the new MacBook Pro's and it should be available in March of 2022.

How strong are the magnetics ?? Will interrupt with the computer internal display ?

The magnetics are strong enough to stay in place and do its job, but not strong enough to cause discoloration for issue with the actual display! It's ingenious and it ACTUALLY works... I've had it for a good while now, and NO problems at ALL!!

Why doesn’t it cover the second camera?

That’s not a second camera. It’s an ambient light sensor which is used for the “adjust keyboard brightness in low light” and screen “automatically adjust brightness” settings.

Is this safe to use with a 2019 16" Macbook Pro model A2141, without risk of cracking or scratching the screen?

I’m using it on a 2019 MacBook Pro 13” and it’s been fine. No scratches.
