Why are they shrink-wrapped?

I don’t remember shrink wrap, but all six pairs were in a plastic sleeve wrap. Likely to keep them clean and free from absorbing anything that might aggravate someone with more sensitive skin issues.

Where are these gloves made? which country? and are they 100% cotton as advertised?

Yes and If you wash them they shrink into half (no exaggeration). Also, the size is small. if you wear medium or large gloves don't buy those.
