Love this bookcase with file drawers. It took me a couple hours put together but the instructions were easy to follow and there were actually a couple of extra parts per bag which was nice to have. I did not use the handles that came with it because they were plastic. I did buy some nice blue site polished chrome and it looks wonderful with my white desk. It is a sturdy piece once you are finished with it and has some weight to it. I am very happy with it and would buy it again

I purchased this, hoping it would look good, even though it was going in my guest bedroom/office "closet". I needed a file cabinet and storage in one, and really wanted something on casters for moving it around in the future, in case I change locations in the house. The box is HEAVY and the outside of it was pretty beat up. I was scared about the condition of the pieces inside, and when we opened it to find a major lack of "packaging" material, I really became nervous. Needless to say, everything was intact, except busted up foam pieces everywhere. Then, hubby got it put together in only 45 minutes, and complained about the poor instructions - stating they were the "worst" he's ever dealt with. He only made one small mistake with assembly (one shelf was put in upside down). It was an easy fix after removing the drawers and loosening a few of the locknut connectors and screws. Overall, I love the look of it, and it is MUCH sturdier than I imagined it would be - hence the weight of it! I can't give 5 stars because my biggest issues is the metal bars for the file drawers. The file folders drag on the bottom of the drawer, even filled with folders. The hanging files just don't "hang" because the metal cross bars are located 1/4-1/2" too low (predrilled holes). The file drawers are still useable, and an upgrade to the height level on those would make this a 5 star purchase all the way. I'm satisfied, regardless.

There was a step in the instructions missing, but luckily I've put enough furniture together that I knew what to do. We bought 2 of these and put them next to each other in our home office. They look great!

It was pretty easy to assemble, It saves a lot of space and the sturdiness and stability are amazing. I would recommend this to everyone!

First, the directions were not great- there was no indication of which side was “up” during the construction, so you really had to visualize how to put it together. Upon completing completion, when I moved it, the bottom disconnected on one side. I’ve put together many furniture pieces like this, so this seems more of a design issue in the fastening. It popped back together but it isn’t sturdy. The piece also is shown with white casters but mine came with black. Not a big deal, but I would have preferred white as the cabinet is white- black casters just make it look to be of lower quality. The cabinet itself is nice looking and what I expected.

Love this piece of furniture. It's sturdy and high quality. I bought other pieces of furniture from Tribdesigns and really like their stuff. Perfect for my office. My husband had it put together quickly. I'd buy from this group any time.

I just got done building this thing. There are a few things to know: 1. The directions do in fact suck. I just figured people that couldn't read were upset about them. There are no words, its just pictures and the pictures aren't totally clear. It take some messing around with to understand what side is up and what side is down. What is on the outside and what is on the inside. MY advice, take the directions and put them right next to you when building. Its not terrible if you do it that way. 2. Not the most secure screws when it comes to the shoulder bolts. Word of advice. Screw them in just far enough so the screw section disappears. The top of the table was biggest pain for me. I got a few secure and called it good. 3. Its pretty sturdy. IF put together correctly its a nice piece of office furniture. 4. On the bottom where you screw the wheels in, there are suppose to be notches cutout to match the screws. In my model they were way off. I had to make my own holes. 5. It comes with a pretty good screw drivers. I recommend a drill for the screws in package B. 6. I didn't mind this put together at all. I think it got a lot of crappy reviews because the directions are that great. Just take your time and pay attention and you should be fine.

My daily files fit perfectly. Nice designs.

Having support for files are 310mm apart, seems a non-standard dimension, neither A4 or Foolscap, so it's basically useless as I can't find any suspension files that fit. The shelves are 50mm too low to fit standard lever arch lever files, so again basically useless.
