Disappointed
Due to no fault of Amazon's, I bought this book after it was recommended as one that teaches inclusion. To put it simply, it doesn't. My students don't like it and my own children don't like. It lacks excitement and the message is very hidden.

Sweet Story
My 2 year old loves this book. The story is simple and sweet and she loves the illustrations. Great book for teaching little ones to be mindful and appreciate nature.

Sweet story about tuning into the sounds of nature
In "A Fox Found a Box," a fox on the hunt for food discovers a mysterious object. The singing box (an old-fashioned radio) at first frightens the forest animals, but soon they are charmed by its tunes, feeling all of the emotions that music can bring. When the box stops working, the animals are forlorn, until they discover that they forest is full of music all its own. Beautiful, gentle and punctuated by short active sentences that are fun to read aloud, this book invites readers to slow down and tune into the world around them.

An amazingly charming, yet thoughtful picture book that MUST be had!
Ged Adamson's 'A Fox Found a Box' is a real gem of a picture book. The light, fluffy almost illustrations add a certain degree of whimsical magic to the story, Fox being such a fun little character. When Fox finds a box what begins is a lovely series of small events that hold BIG meanings. The magic of this story is that it teaches children about something that should be taught at an early age_to be mindful. Such an important message that can shape a person's (or child's) outlook into this world.
