My favorite noise machine. Lots of sounds/ frequencies included, and can be surprisingly loud. There are nature sounds and other comforting options like laundry drying, as well as various fan and static frequencies. My favorite option is the static on the lowest frequency setting. Very comforting, reminds me of my friend's vacation house during the summertime by the lake when they had all the fans on. Perfect for people who are highly sensitive or distracted by sudden noises, dead silence, or sound interruptions. Excellent for studying, focus, or sleeping. Highly recommend, also looks sleek and professional while also being cozy. Note: MUST be plugged in to work, does not run on batteries at all, which kinda sucks.

Great tool with lots of different sounds to provide white noise. I’m well beyond having young kits in the house, so all of the infant and toddler sounds won’t get used. That said, this tool benefits people of all ages. The outside shell is pleasant to look at and is available in a variety of different appearances.

My daughter is a light sleeper and possesses a very sensitive hearing. We are totally the opposite but I had my share of interrupted sleeps so I know how she feels. I want to help her in every possible way I can and did a little research. A lot of sound options to choose from but she preferred the sound of nature. I would walk into her room and it’s the most calming thing, gentle hum of the waves like a lullaby. It was able to drown out surrounding neighbor noises and freeway sound and most importantly, her loud thoughts. It helped her unwind after a challenging day at work. I love its modern design, it goes along her bedroom decor, compact enough if she goes travelling

Unfortunately my wife has just come down with a medical condition related to tinnitus. Among other things, this problem has ruined her sleep, causing her to awaken several times a night and then having difficulty falling back to sleep.She saw a neurologist who suggested, in addition to being tested in the next week or so, she should get a white noise machine.We came home from the neurologist's office and immediately began looking here on Amazon. I looked (on my computer) and she looked (on hers). I had picked about six of them, including this one but she picked this one only. She said that this < Housbay White Noise Machine with 31 Soothing Sounds, 5W Loud Stereo Sound, Auto-Off Timer, Adjustable Volume, Sleep Sound Machine for Baby, Kid, Adult -Wood Grain > is just what she wanted. It does not have a nightlight, which we do not need or want, and its wood-grain design is very nice and fits well into our bedroom.I immediately ordered it (around 4:00 PM) and, with Amazon's amazing shipping, it arrived around 8:00 PM that evening!We have now used it for two nights running, leaving it on all night. Her preferred setting is White Noise, Lowest Setting with a fairly high volume level.It has been helping her. She has been able to sleep for a much longer period of time and, when she does awaken, this machine overcomes the tinnitus-type problem.I had thought that having this white noise throughout the night would interrupt my own sleep but such has not been the case.The device appears to be very well-constructed of high quality materials and its design is superb. I do not know if the case is actually constructed from wood but, if it’s not, it’s the best simulated wood I have ever seen or felt.We are both very pleased with this device. There are two recommendations I could make to the manufacturer: 1) I wish its auto-off timer had options of 2 hours, 4 hours, and 6 hours, instead of 1, 2, or 3 hours (though we have been leaving it on all night - I just turn it off manually in the morning when we wake up), and 2) I wish its power input port were a standard USB C port rather than the non-standard one it uses; the port it uses would make replacing the cord, were it ever necessary, to be very difficult.However, regarding the last suggestion, the included power cord seems to be very robust and, as we take good care of our devices, I am sure that the cord will last for the life of the machine (which I hope is a very long time).I especially like the fact that it runs solely on AC power and has no built-in non-replaceable battery. (When those batteries "die" in some device - and they WILL die eventually - that's the end of the device, even if it is still working well.)Not that this attribute is too important to us, but this machine has many more (and many more good) sound options than any of the others at which I looked. (Of course the one we use is my wife's pick.)As I mentioned above, we are very pleased with this white noise machine and I will VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT to you.Especially at its price, just $26.99, Amazon's current price, I regard this machine as a genuine bargain.If you need or just want a well-made and well-designed white noise machine, I hope you'll consider this one. Mind there are lower priced products similar to this, but this seems to be fair with its price and what it delivers. With several noise options within a few categories, one can find their perfect noise. The color options are a nice touch and can find one that adds ambiance to your room. This is a good alternative to using a fan. Recommend.

I bought it because our baby’s room needed something steady to mask creaks and street noise, and I wanted something unobtrusive that wouldn’t wake the whole house. A simple device with a few reliable sounds seemed ideal for helping everyone drift off without drama.In everyday use the sound stays nicely intimate thanks to the forward facing speaker, so I can hear the details at a low volume without blasting the room. The 31 real sounds give me a few comfortable options like rain or gentle ocean, and the volume fades quietly so there are no jarring jumps as I fall asleep or wake in the night. The timer options are convenient, and I like that it can run until morning if needed without me having to reset it.What stood out most is the look. The wood texture and soft curves make it feel calmer on the nightstand than plain white plastic, and the tilt design keeps adjustments easy without having to fumble in the dark. The output feels solid enough to feel premium without being loud or disruptive, which is exactly what I want when someone is trying to sleep next to me.One small caveat is that there are no lights or audible clicks, so in the dark it can be a little tricky to confirm which sound is playing without listening closely or changing settings. Still, the overall experience is very positive and it genuinely helps with sleep, so I’m glad to own it.

Easy to use. I was apprehensive because of all the options, but is really easy and thankfully, when pick a setting and turn it off and then back on, it remembers that last setting so I am not having to mess with it each night. It's perfect size, and really cute!

Bought a second one after the first one stopped working after 5.5 + years of nightly service. We took it on a family cruise and our kiddo slept great. We heard no hallway noise. We took it to the hospital for an extended stay and it truly helped make nighttime comfortable because it blocked out all the hospital noise and it sounded like home. I like that it does not need batteries or wifi. It is well worth the money.

Maintenant que je l'ai, je ne m'en passerais plus! Le son est pas la top qualité mais ça va très bien. Le son d'eau qui coule est réaliste et ne ressemble pas a un son en boucle. Personnellement, c'est pas mal le seul que j'utilise mais j'aime bien les criquets et les chants d'oiseaux. J'aurais aimé plus de variété de son de nature c'est le seul point faible que je lui donne. Sinon y a quand même pas mal de variété dans les bruits blancs, dans les graves comme les aigus pour ceux qui aiment. Pour les bébés il y a de jolies petites musiques et plusieurs sons rassurants et calmants pour eux. Le réglage du son est pratique, on peut le mettre très faible comme très fort pour ne pas déranger notre chéri! Donc perso je recommande.

I'm glad I bought this one. It sounds great and it's very easy to use. I purchased it because I have tinnitus and can't stand to hear the ringing at night. There are many different sounds to choose from and as loud or quiet as you would want for sleeping. I started with a fan sound and moved go crickets. Kinda funny that I have to remind my brain that it's not the real thing.

I'm all about water sounds & I was able to find one I liked. I'll likely never change it to any of the other options because it works well to help me get to sleep (I have tinnitus & an anxious mind). It's much better than the one I'm replacing it with.Likes:- clear sound- I wasn't able to detect a loop in sound- 3 different timer options: 1hr/2hr/3hr or constant play- remembers last settings used- automatically shuts off once timer is up- can be used for just light, just sound, or both- found 1 sound that makes me happy, relaxed, & puts me to sleep- the turquoise blue light option is like light therapy... it makes me smile (& relaxed) because it reminds me of a childhood toy. I put it on while I'm getting ready for bed. Don't underestimate the power of color. I almost didn't go with this one because I didn't think I'd use the light at all.- it's made of plastic, but it doesn't look or feel cheap like some of the other products on hereDislikes:- lowest volume setting isn’t low enough. I have it set on the lowest volume and the machine sits below the top of my mattress because my night stand is low, but I still have to face the speaker away from me and piled up some socks in front of it to reduce the volume to a more suitable level for me.- breathing light option was hard to get into sync with & it's not something I'd use to fall asleep with because the brightness is enough to distract me from sleeping unless I was dead tired... I'm the type of person that has electrical tape on the appliance clocks because they shine into my bedroom. Could be useful if I wanted to try meditating though...- because it's USB + wall adapter (included), the plug sticks out further than just a regular one would & I had to move my dresser to accommodate
