Review: Great performance but can get hot - Plays the most recent games ie modern warfare and MS Flight Sim on hight to ultra without any problems. Super quick load times with the SSD. Build quality seems very good. Battery life is poor you'll be lucky to game on this for any more than an hour before needing to plug in but this is to be expected from a gaming laptop. A cooling pad is a must for this laptop. I was regularly getting CPU temps into the mid 90s. I contacted HP support regarding this and the guided me through a BIOS update. This Combined with the cooling pad brings the temp doen to the low 80s. If you put the laptops fans onto max it will drop further. Overy all I'm very happy with this laptop.
Review: So clear - I am not a very techie person so I can’t write one of those clever reviews about its technical properties. But I can say is that I love the beautiful clear images I get on the screen. So easy to see and, now I am getting used to it, I find it easy to use. I am still learning what it can do. My last laptop was 10 years old (hence the replacement) and I am finding this can do stuff I haven’t done before. It is very responsive and I need to get used to this and I know it will be great for playing active games. I do love playing computer games and that is one reason I chose this computer. I have only played simple games so far, so I can’t say how it is with the ones full of action. I think I need to find out which is the best to try first - perhaps the one you can download for free after buying this machine would be a start.

**Q: The reviews for this show a different laptop not the same as in the pictures? Which model do you actually get?**
A: Omen 15-dh1005na :) My first laptop from HP and I will stick with them if they keep making products like this. (Solid Machine)

**Q: Why this particular HP 15-dh1005na laptop cannot be delivered to Ireland?**
A: Use ParcelMotel by Nightline, get it delivered to Belfast, and re-delivered from there to your home for a tenner.

**Q: Can you change the colour of the lights on the keyboard? I hate green!**
A: Yes you can you have many colours to pick. I have two systems. One for games and one for studying. OS for games have mix (Yelow blue and red) OS for studying have all white so whatever you like. Just to let you know, Im still using this laptop its working like charm, no overheating at all. I will definetly go with next generation of HP laptops in few years when i change for newer one. Very solid products.
