best rpi board and case setup for starters!
The first thing you'll notice about this kit is the modern look and label ports that will hold all the pieces together. The components are of a good quality, and the instructions, where required are self explanatory. This company has definitely took consideration to what you will need when purchasing a rpi model 4 kit. This Pi will join my assortment of other pi zeros permanently installed and running 24x7 in my home for maker faire projects. This particular Pi will become a server for my 3d printers and for other applications. I run all of my Raspberry Pis headless, only using a monitor, keyboard, and mouse for initial set up. After that, I manage them mostly by using SSH to log into them remotely over my home network, typically wirelessly. Labist kits turn the basic Raspberry Pi model 4 into a tiny micro computer that I can use and feel comfortable about having the cpu and board protected. I appreciate these kits because they come with just about everything with the rpi 4 and are reasonably priced and always in stock from Amazon.I started out with dos and UNIX after installing a FreeBSD 4.2 on a x286 decades ago. I was thrilled when my son wanted to learn python and using this rpi with case is a great way for him to start to learn both software and hardware in the era of IoT.

Impressive product and quality of service
I initially came across labists and products while I was looking for latest version of Raspberry Pi, model 4B 8GB. As a new home owner I was exploring different camera security systems but due to high process associated with such products I decided to build it as a DIY project. I decided to get a bunch of Raspberry Pi Zero Ws to connect to 4b as their main hub. I had to plan this out as I needed to have a full package comprised of casing of the unit, heat sink, fan, and so on. All of these features are packed in this product so I dont have to be worried about where to get what. With 128G of storage, I have plenty of room to expriment with regardless of what projects I wanted to experiement with. Most importantly, the assembly of the unit is fairly easy with video guide illustrations posted on LABISTS YouTube account. The case itself is premuim and the fan holds up well using both 5v and 3 v pins. You have an on and off switch that makes it feasible to turn your Pie off without having to disconnect the power pluh. I did the following testings on this Pie:I stressed the unit by recording at 1080P and collecting footage(via Samba share from 3 other units) and at no given point the temperature went above 38 C using 3V and 32-34 C using 5V. This was perhaps the most amount of pressure that I could put on the unit without using a third party tool designed for creating processing streest.I reapeated the expriment using the motion eye os and the tempurature dropped to 32 - 34 C as this image is optimized for lower usage.I also set up the unit to work as a private network storage using open vault media. The unit kept up vey well while I was backing up both my Win10 and MAC OS onto the NAS drive. In this scenario the temporature never went above 35C.My last experiement was to use the system as a desktop. Watching Netflix and other 4K videos as well as playing my favorite games appeared seemless and very smooth. My overall experience has been very pleasant with this product and I'd highly recommend it for it premium quality and ease of assembly.

Just a whole bunch of fun
So - - yeah - - I'm an MD (retired) - but started out putting together an HP-21MX workstation for the USAF doing IOT&E for GPS (Back in the day - 1978). Now that I have a little more time on my hands - I wanted to pursue my engineering roots (I have an MSEE) by getting back into computers. The question was - Arduino versus Raspberry Pi (RazPi). The Arduino was tempting - but the processor itself was only one component needed for anything you wanted to build - while the RazPi was a full platform needing only a few externals and a program in Python. This kit comes with heat sinks, a Fan, power supply, case, Raspian GUI on a flash card, HDMI cables, case, etc, etc, you need only add a HDMI monitor (I had one), and a Kbd/Mouse (I bought a unified wireless USB 2.0 set for $19 - instantly recognized by the Raspian OS) and you're off to the races. This is a very nice introductory package - - I also bought "Programming the Raspberry Pi {Simon Monk}); Exploring Raspberry Pi {Derek Molloy - Wiley}); and the Fereenove Ultimate Starter Kit for Raspberry Pi {FNK0020}). I will have a lot of fun while waiting for the Novavax Covid vaccine.

Great starter kit for getting into using Raspberry Pi
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Great Pi 4 B kit which includes everything you will need for getting started. Comes with all the display and power cables you would need. includes a 128GB micro SD card and heatsinks that fit perfectly for the main components on the board. The included case also comes with a nice fan that plugs directly into the voltage pins on the raspberry pi.Would highly recommend this as a great start kit

Lots of fun to figure out
Got this for a project to tinker with and have no regrets. It's small, easy to setup, and has potential to be used in so many different ways. The accessories help keep it cooled down and were easy to install. Still working out an issue where I have to unplug the HDMI and plug it back in for the screen to switch over but I think that's an issue with my TV. Otherwise it runs smoothly. Can't wait to figure out what I'll use it for!
