Is there much difference between a small and medium as far as compression** A: Between small and medium I’m not sure there is much of a difference. I’m 5’6” and range from 130-160 lbs. I get a size small. They changed the material in the thigh are a couple of years ago. The product made in 2016 and before was so nice and tight. I think they changed the material because the top part would come unraveled but i just stitched it up with elastic thread. The new style stretches too much in my tight. PETITION TO BRING BACK THE OLD ONES! PLEASE **Q: Do they reach up under the bust ?** A: It does reach up if you stretch it but it doesn't stay up. It just rolls down into a mess around your waist. **Q: Does the top part roll down, creating panty lines and clinging to my clothing?** A: Nooo...it does not roll down at all. **Q: Are these opaque? And also, do they pill or snag?** A: They are opaqus and ran large which is why I returned them. Overall the fabric felt cheap. Once I adjusted it, it stayed in place.Most amazingly, I wore these under slacks in Las Vegas, 100 degree temperature, and took a 15 minute walk down to a site, and a 15 minute walk back. They go on VERY smoothly. Remember they are not pants so you aren't just going to pull them up. I worked one leg at a time, then pulled them up. I have a very flat stomach (not bragging, just putting it into perspective) they DO roll. Not much but if you want to use it at shapwear for your belly/abdominal area, try something high waisted. The description says high waisted, as you see from the model, they come up under the belly button. These are great for everyday use just to make sure any loose skin or cellulite bothers you. Now that spring it here we tent to use thinner material and sometimes see through those clothes.
