This neck roll is a bit firm upon first use but I quickly adjusted to it and love it. It helps relieve my nerve pain. I would buy it again

This neck roll pillow is the perfect circumference to stretch tense neck and shoulder muscles while comfortably sleeping in multiple positions. Pros • Stays in place while sleeping even with moving around • Allows for a true firm feel that still provides enough "give" for pressure relief • Washable soft cover that is easy on and off • Doesn't hurt ears if laying on it as would lay on a traditional pillow • Long enough to keep shoulder aligned while sidesleeping, without added shoulder pressure • Comfortable in side or back sleeping Cons • Soft pillowcase could cause sweating if you are prone to it, or in extreme heat • The direction of the pillowcase fabric fibers could be easily moved, (although just as easily fixed), which might bother some who are perfectionists and getting this pillow just for decoration. • As with any true stretch of a muscle, you feel it stretching for about 2 minutes before you feel the depth of relief, and this is normally the muscles on your neck, upper shoulders, and back of skull. If you want a perpetually stiff neck, or have fused neck vertebrae, this isn't the design for you. The best way to see if this is the correct size roll pillow for you is to measure from bottom of neck to shoulder (side sleeping), Or from the collarbone to the base of skull on the back of your head (back sleeping). If those are similar to the height of this pillow, it will fit and provide the relief and comfort as designed.

With so much crap being sold on Amazon these days, this turns out to be a descent shape and quality, but not so sure how good it does for my neck. But it certainly will be of good use, either for my grandbaby or my spouse's back. Use your own buyer's caution.

Covering is so soft. Soothing just to touch it. Works well for lower back pain

This memory foam pillow is quite soft, which may appeal to those who prefer a gentler cushion. However, for my needs, it was too soft to provide the firm support I seek for my neck. When used as a cervical pillow, it didn’t give me the level of support I was hoping for, leading to some discomfort. Despite my initial disappointment, I decided to keep the pillow due to its low cost and found an alternative use for it in my yoga practice. Instead of using it for neck support, I’ve been placing it under my ankles in child’s pose. This adjustment has been quite beneficial, as it helps reduce the pressure on my legs when they press directly against the floor. The pillow’s softness, which was a drawback for neck support, actually works well for this purpose.

I have had recurring and then chronic neck pain for years now due to scoliosis. Flat pillows helped my thoracic spine but did nothing for my neck. I tried one of the other special pillows but instead of supporting the curve of my cervical spine, they my just raised my entire head, making my neck AND back pain worse. This pillow is PERFECT! I restores the natural curve of the neck and offers both support and a mild, comfortable traction while you rest. When placed properly, your chin will be up, away from your neck and chest, which is also good for posture. And because of the design, you’re encouraged to sleep on your back, not your side or stomach, which is the optimal sleeping position. You don’t need extra pillows; just place this behind your neck and rest your head on your mattress. That way, your head and spine are in perfect alignment. I tried the other, much more expensive, pillow for a month with no relief and got immediate results with this the first night. I slept so deeply that I thought I’d overslept! I plan to buy 2 more: one for beneath my knees, and another for my low back when I’m watching TV. I can’t say enough great things about this pillow. To the manufacturers: Thank you!!!

I have a longer thinner neck than average, and that means most neck support devices are too wide and short for me, and it has been a real problem with the injury I have. This pillow seems a miracle for me. It's firm and doesn't flatten, but doesn't hurt the occipital bone. Best of all there's no weird smell! Soft material but not too slippery, stays in place and doesn't grab hair. Overall very very happy

This is my second cervical neck roll purchase. I am finding this one is much firmer than my other one. It is actually putting too much pressure on my neck. Therefore, I am a little disappointed in my purchase.

It is of the right size. I sleep flat on my back with the pillow under my neck. It acts as a very good stress relief in my neck. Also, it is anti-aging. I realized after using it for 4 days that my cheekbones are lifted! You can also sleep sideways with your head on the pillow. Again since your cheek is not touching the pillow it avoids the formation of wrinkles. I really really love this pillow and I will be taking it along with me wherever I go.

The item is wonderful, it does its job, but it won't help if you plan to embrace it during your night's sleep, because the object squeezes your side-nick so tight that blood won't go through easily, it is so obvious that you can feel it. What I did to overcome that obstacle is putting it under my pillow, and it worked, within seven nights, the pain in my nick was mostly healed. I get addicted to it, I think this will travel with me everywhere I go.

Absolutely relieves me from neck aches due to bad sleeping position. My partner loves it too. Tried to buy a dupe but it didn't work
