Great purchase
I recently installed the Tuuber AAV kit (the one that comes with a 1-1/2” P-trap, mechanical air admittance valve, and all the necessary slip-joint nuts/washers) under my kitchen sink when I replaced an old, gurgling trap setup. Here’s my experience after 6 months of daily use. Pros: • Silent & odor-free venting The mechanical AAV works perfectly. No more gurgling or slow drainage, even when the dishwasher and garbage disposal run at the same time. Zero sewer smell has ever come back through the valve. • Super easy installation Literally 10 minutes with just adjustable pliers. Everything is hand-tight plus 1/4 turn. The kit includes the correct conical washers and the trap arm has a built-in union, so you can swivel it exactly where you need it. No cutting PVC, no primer/glue, no trips to the hardware store. • Clean, compact look Because you don’t need a vent pipe going up through the cabinet or wall, everything tucks neatly under the sink. Great for island sinks or remodels where adding a traditional vent would be a nightmare. • High-quality materials The plastic feels thick and sturdy (schedule 40-ish thickness). Threads are crisp, seals are beefy rubber — none of that cheap, brittle stuff that cracks after a year. • Code-compliant in most areas It’s an Oatey/Studor-style mechanical AAV, approved under IPC, UPC, and most local codes when used as a supplemental (not primary) vent. Check your local inspector if you’re in a strict jurisdiction, but 95% of places accept these now.

Great all in one AAV kit
If you’re mildly handy at doing DIY this AAV kit is great. Its very easy to install and can be used in several different configurations.I have purchased 2 of these so far and they work great. I added one to the laundry room sink and I bought the second one specifically for a bathroom sink to solve a sewer smell issue. The sewer smell issue seemed to be caused by siphoning due to 4 drains in the bathroom plus a toilet drain and there only being one vertical vent pipe. This solved that issue by equalizing the pressure. I installed it on one side of a dual vanity and it is sufficient for both sinks.

I like it, A Lot
Quality of pipe & fittings - especially the neoprene gasket washers is superior. The ones I removed were the standard Big Box store clear plastic washers (one of which I found split prob. from overtightening). These new ones fit snugly and seal well. I installed the entire drain system by hand. Only needed a rag for drips at initial disassembly of old drain. No tools used - I swear just hands. Now - did it help the drain - drain faster, YES. I never had a serious issue just a bit slow. I like these so much, I've ordered two more for the other vanity & the guest bath, they have the same issue, a bit slow. My only issue is price really $45. It's like everything, want it right, you have to pay.

Bubbling or siphoning?
I used this device to facilitate multiple connections under my kitchen counter. The drain height wasn't allowing for proper drainage of the sink and dishwasher, so I lowered the drain by about 20 cm, improving the system's drainage. It's worth noting that downstream from the kitchen drain is also the washing machine, whose high flow rates create suction in the traps, a problem the air intake valve solved. Highly recommended if multiple appliances are draining simultaneously.

pay for what you get
I tried to solve the drain siphon problem with other anti-siphon products, and I wasted my time and money. This air admittance system works flawlessly from the start. I will take the time to recommend this product

Worked for Me
I bought the TUUBER air admittance valve and trap assembly kit because I could hear gurgling from my kitchen sink as the horizontal run from it to the main stack is too long and it was trying to vent from the sink. While the gurgling never emptied the trap enough to allow sewer gas to escape it was still a concern. The reader of this review, unless they've done a lot of DWV plumbing, should be aware that quarters are tight under sinks and attempts to work on their plumbing often encounter complications. Notwithstanding this I took on the project as a DIY anyway and had this installed in short order without issues. I used the supplied new loop of the trap to replace my seemingly identical existing one to upgrade to new instead of 18 years old. Coming off that was the new tee with the TUUBER air admittance valve coming off the top and 3" of the long straight pipe with both new rings and gaskets with it and the tee replacing the 18 year old stem of the P trap. One helpful tip is once you pull out any existing drain piping immediately put a plastic bag or plastic wrap, secured with a rubber band, over the drain pipe exiting the area. Don't take it off until you are ready to connect to it and plan your install to make this the final connection. This way you'll minimize your exposure to sewer gas. The final tip is that this kit comes with lots of parts to be versatile for many different installations. I suggest that you use as many of them as reasonably and easily possible to replace your old parts when doing the work. Would I buy this again? Everything depends on the space and plumbing situation. This was absolutely the right product for this particular situation with a P trap and a horizontal connection to the rough plumbing. A competitor offers a direct swap-in combination trap and air admittance valve all-in-one but it's not suitable for this P trap configuration. If I were dealing with an S trap with a vertical connection to the rough plumbing I'd have bought that competing product.

Item is bulky and AAV does not fit under sink in small bathroom vanity which was my primary reason for buying an integrated AAV and P-trap. Would fit easily in larger bathroom vanities. Plastic material is thin, rubber seals are thin, has many connections within close proximity of each other causing interference when tightening. Returning it and hoping for refund.
