This was a great value for what I was looking for. It is meant for cooking not seasoning after the meal is cooked like most soy sauces that I have used in the past. It doesn't add to much salt, just flavor. I made a great Umami broth for my ramen using this soy sauce, kombu and benito flakes (did NOT use the season pack that comes with the noodles). I also used the broth in my stir fry and other things in place of chicken stock. I have used this soy sauce to make great teriyaki as well. I am happy with purchase and I use this soy sauce a lot in cooking, so it makes me feel better that it's not loaded with salt!
