Ol' Mama Squirrel

My 8 year son has this book and it has been read countless times over the years. I now have a nephew, and he has a copy of this book as well. It is just so fun to read, and the illustrations are fantastic and fun to talk about while reading the story. Fun and Fantastic !!!

This is the cutest book ever. My grandkids love this and want to read it all the time. They love the single word the squirrel says to scare away the creatures trying to invade his tree and his squirrel family. It is so funny and your kids will enjoy it over and over. Pictures are so cute.

If I ever had a fight, I want Ol Mama Squirrel on my team! Inventive, funny, and defender of her territory, ol Mama Squirrel will do just about anything to protect her young. Finally, after exhausting every trick, she must find a way to protect her home from a very, large predator. And she does, and it's wonderful. A great story about standing firm, using your brain and teamwork. Great read aloud book!

SO cute. My son is convinced they're bunnies, but however, the story is fun!

I read this no less than 4 times to my niece in a two day span. She loved it! Great story for kids to follow along and pertinent to this time of year when Squirrels are nesting with their young and seem to be yelling at passersby in the park that get too close to their trees. Really lets kids know that squirrels (and all animals) are great parents and should be left alone to raise their babies naturally. The images in this book were also fantastic. Would highly recommend it!

This books is really cute!! I love the story and my son really enjoys it too. Great pictures and illustrations. Just an overall FUN little book. Can't go wrong with it.

My professor recommended this book to me after I had to work hard advocating for him. Wow, it touched my heart so much and was so reflective to my experience. This book will always remind me of the importance of advocating for our children and supporting them in every way we can.

Wonderfully funny with playful language. My daughter wants me to read this book to her almost every night. Ol' Mamma Squirrel makes you feel like those protective little things you do for your kids are a little more endearing --to both you and your kids--much like when you joke with your own mom about her always saying "I'm cold! You need a sweater." Ok mom :)
