It seems to lightly exfoliate well but does not seem to clean as deeply as my last bristle based brush. Also, since the brush is relatively flat it can be hard to clean around the nose and jawline. That said, this brush is definitely waterproof, I have had no issues when it is directly in water. This brush lathers face wash relatively well and it keeps a charge for a long time. I only just had to charge it for the first time this week, after having it (and using it almost daily) for two months. The brush is easy to clean, I rinse it in the shower and let it air dry. The brush also takes up minimal space in the shower.
