This product has solved two problems for me: 1st, it resolved some scalp problems caused by my former fave shampoo (that, sadly, changed its formula on me). 2nd, this product produces great results without needless chemicals that, according to European countries's regulating bodies, just don't belong in products designed for personal hygiene.This product has a faint tea-tree oil scent that does NOT stay on the hair so it is truly unscented.After 3 weeks of near daily use, my scalp is no longer itchy, scaly, or overly dry.My wife cannot keep her hands off my head and she loves how soft my hair feels.This is my new shampoo. I do, a couple times a week, follow it with a CeraVie moisturizing rise just to keep my scalp moist and my hair 'fluffy' for the style my wife loves.This product has my highest recommendation (especially for people over 60, like me, who want no-nonsense, unpretentious, and simply-formulated personal care products. Not fancy. Just right.

I’ve been using this shampoo for almost two weeks now and I’m really loving it. It has a wonderful scent and leaves my hair extremely soft and shiny. I’ve been using Avalon Organics products for a long time and I’m already a big fan of the brand. I also keep the Tea Tree shampoo on hand and like to alternate between them.This Coconut Pear version has been such a pleasant surprise! My hair feels moisturized, lightweight, smooth, and healthy after every wash. Avalon really did a great job bringing the natural benefits of coconut into a hair care product that actually delivers results. Very happy with this purchase. Five stars!

I've been using this product line for a while now and it's a household staple. It smells great, cleanses hair well, and addresses itch and dandruff. Recent order for the shampoo unfortunately came as a conditioner instead. I do wish the packaging had less plastic adhesives to peel, but I saw the labeling problem on the box. There were three separate conflicting stickers labeling the box as shampoo and conditioner, maybe the packaging and labeling could be more streamlined and clear to ensure customers get the product they thought they were buying and need... I'll keep the product, because of eventual use, but it isn't the one that's needed. Also, I don't remember if there's a price difference, so don't wait to open your box like me, open upon receipt to make sure you got what you need.

Love this shampoo. Hair is silky smooth, without the Paul Mitchell price! Has helped clear up my scalp and back of head along neck line from all the other poo's chemicals I'd been using. Smells amazing too.

Good deal on a great shampoo. It is easy on the scalp and on hair. It creates luxurious lather and yet rinses out easily. No silicone like so many shampoos. Leaves hair soft and shiny. And it smells nice.

I've been using this shampoo for about 2-3 years now but I've only purchased it from our local Sprouts (grocery store). I usually buy it only when it's on sale ($15.99). Seeing how it was so much cheaper on amazon, I decided to try it!It is definitely NOT the same shampoo I'm used to using. It is watered down and some sort of gel additive is added to it to make it appear 'thicker'. See my image comparison. The bottle on the left is from Sprouts, while the one on the right is from Amazon. I definitely have to use a lot more of it in order to lather up.Moreover, I have also noticed that it makes my hair much more dry after use, and I've experienced hair loss since I started using it.. a lot more hair collected in the drain than I'm used to seeing. Plus I had a haircut recently so there should be less hair collecting in general.Since I bought this large size bottle, I don't want to return it (like I did when I bought a similar looking bottle from TJ Maxx on sale one time, but returned it then when I saw the gel-like consistency). If my hair loss continues, I may just stop using it.Particularly in this time of the pandemic, I don't want to give up on already scarce supplies :), so I will keep this bottle. But I will certainly not be buying this shampoo from this seller again. I hope my honest review was helpful.

I've been using this shampoo for years, and I love it. You don't have to use too much, and it lathers really well. My hair doesn't get dried out from daily use, and it washes out without leaving any sort of film. I even use it as face wash. It's nice that it comes in such a large size, and the pump nazzle is always a plus.

I really like these product's I bought, I've been trying to use healthier product's on my hair and these seem to make my hair very happy, I notice because my hair is clean and shiny as well fluffy rom being clean!

I’ve used this shampoo for a few years now and it’s really effective for oily scalps. I used to have bumps or pimples on my scalp but no longer after I started using this shampoo. Only thing is that it might make your hair feel dry so definitely use it with a conditioner or just every other day instead of daily.

Like the large bottle and the robust pump. Have used other Avalon Organics shampoos, so far am enjoying this one and my scalp feels comfortable.Amazon packaging has become very inadequate, this large bottle with pump should have been well protected to avoid spillage and damage, just randomly thrown into a box with other items, not good!

I'm allergic to SLS in shampoo and had a very bad reaction from a previous shampoo. This Avalon Tea tree scalp treatment shampoo is SLS free and helped my scalp recover and I've been using it regularly. My hair always feels "squeaky" clean afterwards.
