I placed these on each of my 5 windows. Easy to place in window & sticks to window w/o any fuss. My apartment is broken into nearly daily. Sometimes they steal food, cookware, clothes, shoes, jewelry, expensive ceramic items or one of a kind items made for me personally. No one believes me, so nothing is ever done to help me. They work w/ sophisticated wifi that is in my smoke alarm & some other device which goes into the ceiling. I have had my curtain rod pulled down on me. I also have had the cheaper magnetic alarms yanked off the window & once thrown at me. They stay in my apt. & my attic. Four years I have put up w/ this intrusion. Anyway, these alarms work wifi or they can jam the signal so the alarm doesn't go off. From another area they will make an alarm go off to get me to go look at it when they're really trying to get me out of bed room so they could get into the window in my bedroom. They know where I am every minute so as not to be caught. They have little flashing stars, wavy lines to blur my vision, hologram like pictures of things that aren't even there, shine a bright light in my face as I wake up so I can't see anything & it hurts my eyes. I know it's unbelievable & if I weren't me I'd think I was crazy to. But my dogs react to the noises being made or a sense that someone else is in the apt. that don't belong in it. I'm scared all the time. I can't eat, so I've become malnourished & lost a lot of weight. I've done everything I know to do. I'd get cameras but they work w/ wifi too. I undo the electricity going to my wifi box when I want to sleep or they get me so agitated I can't sleep. They have gone through every door & drawer invading my personal ordinary stuff. My apt. sits just a few feet away from a gravel roadway that leads to the river. There is no lighting around my apt. on the side & back of my apt.. it's pitch black. I am elderly & disabled & live on a meager fixed income. I can't afford to buy stuff for fear it will be stolen. They have stolen expensive brand new clothes I'd purchased on sale w/ the tags still on them. They are driving me nuts!! They've never tried to hurt me. But why all the fancy gadgets for my apt. I'm a nobody w/ nothing of real value. I do know there's quite a lot of illegal drugs being sold in & around my area.. Could I be their headquarters - I know it's crazy! I have asked out loud if they could return something they took, like my dogs brand new leash & collar & they returned it & placed in a bag & placed it in another room. Even the stuff I buy from the Dollar Tree. I know they've taken over a dozen of my reader glasses & sunglasses. My apt. Manager won't do anything. By the time the police arrive they've long been gone. I try to tell them don't turn on your flashing police car lights, they know for sure it's time to exit. So the police won't even take down a report. The police station is 10 min. away but it takes them 20-35 min. to get here. I live in a very small town, our biggest stores are Walmart & Winn Dixie. I don't know what to do. If anyone has any suggestions please share them w/ me. My window alarms work great if they're signal frequency isn't disrupted. They are very sensitive & loud. I highly recommend them for an intruder who doesn't set up camp in your home. Best wishes for all.

Having read others' reviews about the difficulty of getting the alarms off of glass, I chose not to use the adhesive on the alarm directly on windows or doors. When I installed one on a wooden gate I first put Gorilla Tape on the gate, then affixed the alarm to the tape. With windows and doors I first put blue painter's tape on the frame, then affixed the alarm to that tape so I will be able to remove the alarm without difficulty. For a screened window I choose to leave open in summer, I just lean one of the alarms against the screen and remove it when I close the window. The alarms are plenty loud to wake you up if someone starts tampering with a window or door.

I purchased these items when I heard people are using the bathroom windows to break into a house. I also noticed one of my gate door was open a few times within the last 4 months. I have an alarm for the doors but not the breaking of windows. I feel more secure at night knowing that these items will provide more security. I added some of Scott's sticky dots to provide more flexibility when I remove it to replace the battery. Will test the battery life. Would like a remote of other systems to notify me of the battery life.

When you put these up in the window, make sure that you can turn the button on or off they seem to work. I haven’t had any problems with them except when the wind blows, it makes the windows rattle and they will set off.

I throughly enjoyed how easy it is to set the sensitivity and how loud this product can actaully get. Like this thing will make your ears ring if you're right by it. (I shook it to test sensitivity and...yes very loud)

Leichte Montage, die Einstellung der Empfindlichkeit ist auch "kinderleicht"! Besonders gut die eventuellen Ersatzpads, fall benötigt! Der Alarm ist dünn und sehr laut! Kann ich weiterempfehlen

薄いので、どんな窓でもつけられた 電池は元々付いてるが、すぐに無くなると警戒していたが1年経っても、しっかり稼働 安いし出来も良いので大変満足

最近窓を割って強盗に入る事件が多発しているので購入しました。感度を最高にして窓に貼っていたら間違って窓にビンの蓋があたっただけでアラームしました。感度を最高にすると非常に敏感です。アラーム音はうるさいくらいの音量なので十分だと思います。
