That just happens. How a company responds is the real indicator of quality. We got this bike 2 days before Easter and I opened it Saturday night to assemble. There were a few holes in the box when it arrived but I examined the bike and there was no damage. When trying to find the instructions, they were missing. This was easy enough to assemble without the instructions. However, the pedals were missing when I had used all the parts. So, I looked up Joystar and emailed customer service. I was somewhat disappointed as I knew it was Easter weekend. I got a response ON EASTER telling me that the pedals and the missing instructions were being sent immediately and would arrive in 2 days. WOW. The email correspondence was extremely satisfying. They MORE than met my expectations and went beyond. The bike is adorable and my 6 year old daughter loves it. Not having the pedals made it an easy transition for her for a couple of days to put her feet down. Training wheels - great! I highly recommend the doll seat as an add on. It makes her be even more brave when learning to ride.
