Is these the best you guys found the money i have a small rv remodel and want the basic or cheapest

Don't buy from Recpro,no warranty for a repair person and no factory warranty.You do have legal repair rights with the FTC and the state under the implied warranty act.which started who ever you buy from dealers or merchants that the purchasd items must perform all functios that it was made for.Look up on the internet.As they state they have no return.Not true with above information.FTC,Federal Trades Commission

How is it secured in the RV?

It has adjustable front feet to level, and once installed in the old spot in the RV just block the bottom and pad the sides, it needs no ventilation except at the bottom rear, and that is where your access cover is anyway. Not sure what the other comment was about, this is 12VDC so needs no plug as it is hard wired. You can use the original 20A circuit for the old fridge to power it as the max power draw is 10A on defrost, 7 amps running up to the set temp, then 1 amp. So far this has worked great, much better than our old absorption reefer, without the fire danger.

It is free standing, but in an RV, you would want to attach it to something, otherwise, it could tip over.
