Used for freeze protection of plants. Bought a few different types and brands and for my application the ones with drawstrings were much easier to use and stayed in place without a stake/brick holding it down. Get the covers with the drawstrings they will save you from being outside in the freezing cold/rain trying to tie down them down.

While they worked well when the temps kept above freezing, we had a week of temps hovering around 20 F at night, and these bags did not save any of my plants, despite throwing towels over them on the colder nights.

I hope they work- I have them on fig trees that are subject to winter freeze/wind damage.

Stink bugs continue to decisemate my tomatoes . hard spots etc. Tomatoes do not require insect pollination . They tend to be self pollinated. These bags provided the solution. cover shake water fertilize. very reduced bug damage. a new use for these and worth every penny.

This stuff saved all of my plants and bushes through a negative 17 degree winter. Double up for better protection! I make sure to have this on hand every winter.
