Smooth, rich coffee that has become my everyday favourite I’ve tried quite a few different coffee beans over the years, and these Costa Signature Blend beans are among the best I’ve found for an everyday coffee. The 1kg bag offers excellent value, especially for anyone who gets through a lot of coffee at home. The beans arrived fresh and were consistent in size and appearance, with very few broken beans in the bag. Once ground, they produced a lovely aroma that genuinely fills the kitchen and gives you that coffee-shop feeling at home. The flavour is well balanced and easy to drink. It’s rich enough to have character but not so strong that it becomes bitter or overpowering. I found it works equally well as a black coffee or with milk, and it produces a smooth, rounded flavour without the harsh aftertaste that some blends can have. I’ve used these beans in both a bean-to-cup machine and a grinder with a cafetière, and the results have been consistently good. The crema from the machine was impressive, and the flavour remained reliable from the first cup to the last. One thing I particularly like is that it’s a crowd-pleasing blend. Family and visitors have all commented positively on the taste, which isn’t always the case with stronger or more specialist coffees. It strikes a nice balance between flavour and drinkability. If I had one minor criticism, it would be that coffee preference is very personal, and those who enjoy very dark, intense roasts may find this blend a little milder than expected. For most coffee drinkers, however, I think that’s actually one of its strengths. Overall, these are excellent quality coffee beans that deliver a consistently enjoyable cup of coffee. They offer great value for money, smell fantastic when freshly ground, and have earned a permanent place on my shopping list.

These beans produce a smooth, full-bodied coffee with the familiar Costa flavour. The blend of Arabica and Robusta gives it a rich aroma with slightly nutty, caramel notes. It works particularly well for espresso and milk-based drinks without tasting excessively bitter. The smaller bags within the multipack are also useful for keeping the remaining beans fresh until they are needed. A reliable everyday coffee that works well in a bean-to-cup machine.

Beans will need a blender but the taste is better than pre blended for some reason.

A very good smooth, everyday coffee. Comes in 200g packs, which is ideal, as one pack fills my bean to cup machine perfectly. Highly recommended for those who enjoy a not too strong and not too weak coffee taste.
