Franklin Sports Mini Basketball Hoop with Rebounder and Ball

My eight year old grandson put this up on Christmas Day and played steadily through the holidays. It worked exactly as described, though we were pleasantly surprised by the quick ball returns and the additional skills necessary to catch the returns and fire another shot. This is a good toy.

My 8 year old son WILL NOT stop playing this thing! He loves it and shows it off to anyone who comes over. He enjoys practicing his shots as this system delivers the ball right back to him after he makes a shot (ball is included by the way in case anyone was wondering). The motor is a bit loud against his bedroom door but that's okay, it doesn't both me (too much). What a great buy! If your kids love basketball and you allow them to play indoors, I say get it for them, it will keep them busy for hours!

First let me say to be careful with everything and don't just throw it together without checking instructions. We broke the piece that allows the net to connect to return ball machine so I had to improvise with a shoelace. It worked but it would look better had we not messed up the connector piece. The ball return shoots out the ball far so you don't need to be close. It shoots it hard so be careful standing right in front. Now the plus side of that is it likely will cause a few laughs. The first time we tested it my daughter was standing right in front and the ball hit her in the face. Not hard enough to really hurt but hard enough we were all laughing hysterically. The score counter doesn't work as well as I'd like since it often doesn't seem to cause the metal pin to compress when the ball passes through. This was a Christmas gift and has gotten a lot of use by my Kid's and still works well from a launching the ball perspective. very solid overall construction and the battery lasts a long time before replacement is needed. It is very stiff so not a dunking type indoor hoop like the older cheaper nerf style. Great purchase that I'd buy again.

Very durable as I have it to my nephew and he is tough on it. It is noisy but what kid wouldn’t make it noisy? Ha! The design is great!

I saw that this had mixed reviews, maybe not on the one I bought from here on amazon, but on a few other ones. But me and my friend decided to buy one for our son's on Christmas anyways. I haven't had any problems at all. My son plays with it a lot, and still no problems. Our whole family played with it one day. My son loves it, and I'm not going to lie, we all had fun when we were playing with it. So, for the mixed reviews... I don't know, but my product so far has had no problems at all.

This was a bit of a disappointment. The ball does not flow through the tube unless the unit is turned on which requires batteries. A wheel inside the tube "shoots" the ball back out and that wheel blocks and holds the ball in the tube if the unit is turned off. A simpler indoor basketball goal would have been sufficient for playing basketball on rainy days. The tube and wheel just serve to slow down play and my kids were quickly bored by this contraption. Sometimes simpler is better. The score board did not work properly - some scores were recorded while others were not. Too much "bling" - not enough quality.

This is a cool toy and the only thing my son actually asked for for Christmas. So far its been a lot of fun. We are having trouble hanging over a door though. There's not enough room between the door and the door frame to play it with the door closed. Hopfully we can figure something out.

First, this only hangs on the outside of doors (I.e. it won’t fit if you are trying to hang it with a door stopper at the top of the door frame). And the height is not adjustable, as the mechanism immediately failed. Second, and perhaps most importantly, the motor is incredibly weak and will not “return” the ball. Rather, the wheels inside come to a halt when the ball is in the chute making it incredibly frustrating to retrieve the ball. Third, the score board and “announcer” isn’t worth it. We tried turning that feature off in an attempt to give the return motor more “oomf” and couldn’t figure out how to even do that. I would say the volume (which is NOT adjustable) isn’t terribly loud, so that would have been a plus for us... but generally not worth it. Overall, this was a waste of money. My poor kiddo was so excited for this on Christmas morning and here we are, two days after Christmas, with the toy sitting on the porch waiting for UPS to pick it up and return it back to Amazon.

Super easy to use. Hours of fun for the kids. Comes with one ball but we use other balls as well. Highly recommended. Even my five year old can use it. Shorter kids need help reaching the on/off switch.

Me gustó lo en lo personal mucho pero ni me gustó que estuviera hecho de un plástico qué se me hace un poco frágil pero para su precio vale mucho la pena también tengo que mencionar que no me gustó que tuviera que ir a comprar baterías tipo c ya que hoy en día todo se carga. No esperen ni mucho ni poco si quieren diversión compren lo vale la pena
