Instinct Freeze Dried Raw Meals, Natural Cat Food, Chicken, 9.5 oz. Bag

I would say out of all the things I have purchased on Amazon, this is by far one of the best and most meaningful things I have bought... and the reason I say that is plain and simple... this food makes my cat the happiest she's been when it comes to meal time! 🤗❤️😸 Before this I was feeding her Fancy Feast, as well as Purina One kibble, which I would leave in her dish all day for her to nibble on when she was done with her Fancy Feast. She had some days where she would eat a lot, and then other days she seemed to be sick of the food. Then she came down with an illness in her gut that stopped her from absorbing nutrients, she lost her appetite, lost a lot of weight and looked very sickly. She's 15 years old, I was heartbroken and so convinced I was going to lose her. The vet couldn't figure out what was wrong even though several tests were done, so was giving her B12 shots to bring some of her nutrients back, which was helping a little bit but not much. Then a second vet decided it's time to try out an antibiotic to see if it would help. It did and her appetite came back, but she was still not putting on that much weight. I don't normally pay attention to ads, but one day I read an ad where this vet was talking about how cats are carnivores and freeze dried raw meals is best for them because regular cat food is heated so high to keep it from spoiling, and then with all the preservatives it lacks so many nutrients and actually makes cats ill after a while. He went on to discuss a product that he put out, and I looked for it on Amazon, but instead I came across Instinct, which is the same as what this veterinarian was referring to. I gave it a shot and gave it to my Bella both ways...in the dry pellet form that it comes in, and also moistened with water to make it more of a wet food. She absolutely loves it both ways and just can't get enough of it! Her eating habits have changed immensely! She has actually put on weight, you can see her coat has a beautiful shine, where she was losing hair it is now growing in and coming through beautifully! 🤗 Her eyes are bright, and she has so much energy that she's jumping up and down off the table now, 😲something she could not do before because she was too weak. She is playing a lot more and she even had the zoomies several times. 😂 She is 15 years old but yet she is running around like she is 2 years old! I give it to her usually wet in the morning, and then when I come home from work I fill up her dish with the dry pellets, and she cleans her dishes every time! Right now she is sleeping peacefully next to me on the couch, content because she has a full belly! 😹 This food is the best thing to ever happen and I am so grateful that it brought my beautiful little baby back to the way she was! It makes my heart happy to see her feeling so much better! 🤗😊💕😽

This cat food is truly exceptional when I opened the bag, the smell is phenomenal!!! I haven't smelled good cat food for my babies in a long time. I used to buy them "Because It's Better" cat food but somehow I'm not seeing it on the market anymore, which is truly sad and that food was better in the pricing than this one. I want to buy food for them that they love and enjoy. We as humans buy food that we love, regardless of the price...it's only fair We treat "Our Animals" the same. My Cats TRULY LOVE IT!!! I just wished it came in a bigger bag, and the price was a little more reasonable. The size of the kibble is large but reasonable for cats consumption, the color and texture is nicely done to perfection, the best quality food for your cats in my book. My cats do not have any problems with any digestion/stomach issues whatsoever. I believe this cat food is quite healthier than the other ones on the market. Just hoping in the near future maybe they could create a bigger bag and bring the price down on the food. To create and build customers over time within reasonable pricing that would draw clientele in for their revenue. (Just a Suggestion), Nobody speaks about the smell of the cat food and that is the most important part to the consumer to know if it's of good quality. The Smell is EVERYTHING!!! JS (JUST SAYING)

My cat loves this food. It’s really expensive but my little buddy is getting to be a picky eater in his old age. I’ve ordered several times. It’s always late arriving so I’ve learned to expect slow delivery.

My cats love it, I use it with other foods too but the price is reasonable and the quality is real and I see it in my cats.

Roxie ate this one without any problems. She preferred it dry drinking water afterwords. The only setback is the price. So she’ll get it with home made food

Glad I discovered this. Nice texture, not too hard nor too crumbly and not overly dry. They are easy to flake with your fingers to crumble on the top of their canned portion. They are much less likely to turn their noses up and walk away with it on top. Two of my seven are not crazy about eating them as a snack but the others are absolutely frantic for them. If I have chicken/beef broth I'll put some in a bowl with them and they love that too. There is little to no smell and this time I bought the larger 25oz bag as it is better price per oz and I plan on always using these. They would also be very easy to travel with although we don't. :^)

Im so disappointed. Want8ng to make a difference in the quality of my cats food, make a difference in the long term. No high heat processing. Following precisely the transition process carefully, the cats had various upset systems. The last was my oldest had diarrhea w/blood. I have been very shaken as I have had to revert to the leftover Purina prescription. I'm using organic pumpkin all along. I also had purchased the bag of just their raw nuggets. Amazon refunded me thankfully!

I bought this product for my cat because she is a senior cat and she had a hard time to break up other cat treats. She had several teeth extracted a year or so ago and stopped eating the ones on the market. But these are he most favorite to eat, she literally sits or lays down next to the bag and keeps an eye on it. She now begs for them all the time.

The freeze-dried bag was scratched, and unfortunately, I can’t feed my pet from an opened food pack. really disappointed…
