Olewo Rootsies Sensitive Stomach Dog Food Topper for Dogs, 2.2 lbs

This food topper has worked so much better than pumpkin for my 3 1/2 y.o. Pittie. I’m on my 5th bag, and the digestive and intestinal problems are a thing of the past. It’s well worth the cost.

My Belgian Malinois has had severe digestive issues for years, resulting in almost constant runny poops. We’ve tried everything from diet changes, making homemade food, medication, brat diets, etc., and nothing helped until we added this combined with the carrots from the same brand. The pellets are super compressed, so I mix about a 1/8 cup with 3/4 cups water and let it bloom, then it’s split between 2 dogs, half in the morning and half in the evening and we’ve seen far fewer runny messes. We’ve been using this for a few years and it’s definitely worth every penny.

Have purchased this brands dehydrated carrot product and loved it! Seemed like this was the next step up for my Dane's sensitive stomach and mushy poops. He has had constant diarhea since starting this product. I hoped to see some improvement, but something does not agree with him at all. It seems to have the opposite affect with both my dogs.

My seven dogs love these. If I feed them to them one at a time as training treats they go nuts! I put some in their food as well. Nice! Easy to pick up formed stools! I know it's weird to get excited about poop but but having easy to clean up and healthy poop that will keep their anal glands in check is a big deal. We've had a couple of our dogs have problems with anal glands and that is something that you do not want to deal with. This is helping me avoid it in the future for them and the other dogs

This made my shepherd throw up within 12 hours of consuming it. My other dog was fine. I use other Olewo products that the shepherd is fine with, but this one did not agree with her. I bought two bags on accident. One hasn't even been opened, but I'm unable to return it. Very disappointed. *update* Seller contacted me to initiate a refund. I'm very grateful and will still absolutely continue buying their other products! This one in particular just didn't work for one of my girls

This seems to have helped. My greyhound was having loose watery stool on the same food she has been eating for years. After getting blood work and all other tests done, nothing seems to be out of place. Vet wanted me to try a very expensive dog food to see if it would improve the situation but I wanted to see if there was something especially. I been giving her olewo carrots as needed but Just giving her the carrots didn’t seem to help this time. so now I give her the carrots and the rootsies with each meal and it definitely has improved her stool. I will see I can ween her off the carrots and just give her the rootsies after another week or so.
