Islands in the Sun 2016 Wall Calendar Calendar – Wall Calendar, June 15, 2015

I love this calendar! Believe it or not, I couldn't find any calendars in my local Walmart. I turned to Amazon and tried to find the cheapest calendar with nice images I could find. I love beach themes so I was excited to find this calendar. The boxes for the days are quite large and meet my needs for writing appointments on. There are a wide variety of holidays printed as well (I had no idea the Queen's birthday was celebrated on different days in New Zealand versus Australia!). But what I love the most is that the source and location of the images is provided. Too often you see beautiful images on calendars and there will be a small copyright, but the location of the image is a mystery. So if I want to look at an image in my Islands in the Sun calendar and remark on how beautiful it is, now I know where the image was taken, and now I can add more locations to my Places-That-I'd-Love-To-Visit-But-Probably-Never-Will list, and have a visual to fuel my daydreams! Get this calendar. You won't be disappointed!

Nice quality paper -- thick, not flimsy. The photos are fine, although now I know what other reviewers meant when they said there aren't many that are high definition. It's not that big a deal; from a few feet away the calendar looks fine. But if you like to pour over the photos close up, while dreaming of being on that particular beach, the photos aren't as satisfying as other calendars I've seen. For the price not bad, though. Wish that more of the photo locations had been identified. A lot of unknown locations . . . how does that happen?

Overall, a nice calendar at a nice price. Other reviewers mentioned poor image quality, but there are really only 1 or 2 images that are not good while the rest are very good for a calendar at this price point. Oh, and Amazon shipped mine in a box which was a nice touch to prevent the calendar from getting folded and stuffed in the mailbox.

This calendar was a total bust. There are like a couple good res-images, the rest are TERRIBLE and cheap, pixelated, etc.

Very pretty calendar, plenty of room to write in the daily blocks, free shipping, and crazily inexpensive. I was very happy with everything about it.

The calendar was shoved into my mailbox and resulted in the calendar being bent and not laying flat when opened. No fault of Amazon - just the delivery method.

Very poor reproduction quality. Worst I've ever seen in a calendar.
