What else to ask for $30?
This watch has been around longer than many people reviewing this watch speaks for the status of itself. It works, it looks good, it's cheap, it's the watch millions of people and millionaires can wear and it will never be obsolete. 5/5, highly recommended.

Casio never disappoints
Lightweight, practical, great quality with retro vibes Just what I needed for a recent trip that required keeping tract of the new time zone during flight. For instructions on how to use, I just found a YT video, instead of reading the smaller print. I have not had it long enough to have an opinion about battery life.

A good retro style watch, but small
The F91 is apparently the top-selling watch of all time, so some people consider it an iconic look. It was released in 1989, so it's not really quite as "80's" as some people think, but it's also not that different from the F87 that preceded it. So if you're looking for something retro, the F91 does the job and it's super cheap. I bought the one with the clear strap and white/silver case, just to have something different. I'm fairly convinced it'll yellow over time but that'll hopefully just make it look even more retro/vintage. This thing isn't *just* retro, though. It's actually a very useful, very legible watch. I also have a CA-53W calculator watch and it just doesn't have as nice of a display. The F91 is clearer from all angles, with slightly larger digits, and it also has a (front) light that the CA-53W does not. As far as I know, the F91 is the cheapest model Casio sells with a light. Again, it is a *front* light, so keep that in mind. It works, but it's not as nice as the backlit models. One caveat about probably all digital watches of this era... it is small. On my 195mm (17.6") wrist, it looks and feels like a toy. That's one reason I have the calculator watch; it's at least a little bigger and looks more like a normal size watch. The F91 looks and feels like something intended for a small child on my wrist. You need to have a smaller wrist or just be a smaller person than me in general to really have this watch look normal by modern standards. That said, I do wear it at home and occasionally around town sometimes when I want to feel like I have nothing on my wrist. (Sometimes I just need a break from my heavier watches.) It is insanely light; that goes with it being so small. I sometimes forget why people wore such small watches in the old days until I actually put this thing on; then I remember it's because you can just forget you're even wearing a watch. Anyway, for a little over 20 bucks, everyone may as well have one of these. Even watch snobs generally have at least one F91.

ok watch.
works fine. It's lightweight. ok size. I've accidently pressed the silver buttons a few times because they press easily and stick out. Other than that it is fine.

Pretty cool! Packaging came damaged though :(
I would give it more stores but I was sad that the packaging came damaged as it was a gift. Other than that the watch itโs self is lovely.

A true classic, hard to imagine a better value-watch than the F91W.
Snapped up this F91W in the clear-acrylic form factor after deciding to leave the Apple Watch 10 and all of the invasive tracking and an annoying notifications and nags behind. Like so many, my first watch was a basic Casio digital and it has been a delight to come back to the simplicity of this 1980's recipe. Fit's my 6" wrist well; if you have a bigger wrist, you may find the band is a bit short, or too short entirely. Has what you need - time (12/24h), day and date, an alarm, a stop watch with lap function, and an admittedly very dated green LED backlight. Easy to forget it's there as it's slim, lightweight, and out of the way. It's not a smart watch, but it feels like a smart buy in contrast to the planned obsolescence of the Apple Watch, etc.

Fits my peculiar needs perfectly
My new Casio F91W-1 Classic Resin Strap Digital Sport Watch with white face and clear plastic wrist band is what I needed for a particular purpose. I need something about once a week that is very inconspicuous. I'm not trying to hide it, but I don't want it to grab peoples attention. Just be there doing the job without being in the way. This fits the bill. The photos give you a good view of how clear the band is. It is small for a full grown man, and could easily be worn by a woman or younger person, but again, that fits my purposes very well. The digital readout is clear and easy to read. The buttons are large enough and protrude enough that that are easy for even elderly fingers to push for the light or to change modes or set the time. As far as accuracy goes, I'm very satisfied, but not thrilled. Comparing it to the world clock official time it has gained approximately 1/2 to 2/3 second in the past week. "Your mileage may vary". That's really pretty good. That means I'll only have to reset it every month or so and only then if I'm really obsessed with accuracy to the second, which for my purposes is not necessary. For a convenient, pretty accurate and very budget friendly time piece this watch really checks the boxes for me. I've had good luck with Casio in both quality for the price . . . or "value", and functionality in the past. Of course, if something changes in the next few months to a year or so I'll be updating this review.

Style + Function = WIN
The hype about this watch is real! This is my first Casio, but I've been eyeing this model for a long time, love the clear band. Easy to adjust the time and date, and thankful it has a stopwatch feature too. So far so good, really pleased with the quality for the pricepoint.
