Does this charger automatically shut off when battery is fully charged?

I have other chargers that do not shut off when full.

Does anyone elses charger make high pitch noise while charging. Is this nornal?

That's a tough one to answer. Anything that produces electricity does operate at a frequency. Some are more audible than others. But to answer your question, mine does not make sound while charging. If you are concerned that this may be a malfunction you should consult the manufacturer. their number and website is usually found in the user manual or registration documentation. I purchased mine back in July of last year
