SGL 6" Dimmable LED Downlight, 13W (100W Replacement), 4000K Netural White, 1080 Lumens, Retrofit LED Recessed Lighting Fixture, LED Ceiling Light, Recessed Downlight, 4-Pack

I bought one set of 4 to try out and I loved them so much that I filled my house with them!The light may be too bright for some people but we have 10 foot ceilings and the light mimics actual sunlight so it is very uplifting. I would try out one set to make sure the lumens is the one you are looking for.I tend not to read instructions so it took me a couple of tries before I got the hang of changing these lights out. My canned lights had 2 springs that I had to detach to get them out and these lights have the V-clips that go into the brackets on either side of the standard canned light cans. Twist the light bulb adapter into the socket and then squeeze the V-clips and get them into each of the brackets and then push the lights up into the fixture. Thats it!I have had standard bulbs, then flourescent bulbs, then led bulbs and have always had to replace them after a while. Not sure why, but no bulb seemed to last. I think it may have something to do with the vibration of our washing machine or possibly the canned lights getting a voltage spike or something. But I have not had to replace any of these lights.I bought a total of 7 sets to fill my entire house! Stop wasting your money on bulbs and buy these. I may add more canned lights to my house just so I can buy more of these.As far as the seller, the product always arrived in two days per the Prime membership and I havent had to contact the seller for any reason because the product arrived well packaged and worked great. One caveat, when I was learning how to do the V-clips I accidentally broke off one of the clips, but the light holds well with just one clip.

this is a very nice product. I will buy another pack to put around the rest of the house but be aware of the following observations.1. Installation = inside your hi hat, you have 2 tabs opposite each other. They look like 4 hooks. (2 on each side) make sure you locate these and make sure that the spring clips slide into these. ( I wished the instructions where a little more clear on this with a drawing of them) (see image of bracket) I'm not sure if all hi hats have these clips but if yours do not then good luck trying to get them to stay flat on your ceiling.Once I figured out the installation process, they took about less than 5 minutes each.. I'd say even less than 3 minutes.10/17/2016 - Update. Okay so last night I was playing around with the lights and they no longer flicker as stated before so I changed my review to 5 stars !! Awesome bulbs.. Ordering another pack for the other hi hats around the house.So installation assuming you have the tabs is a breeze.COLOR: 4000K is perfect color for bright white but not hospital white. So these lights for my purpose have the perfect balance. I removed 5000K to install these and the room feels so much better.the reason for the 4 stars is the DIMMING.although these lights do dim, they FLICKER when at the lowest setting. This did not happen with my previous LED 5000K bulbs. I have a LEVITON dimmer switch for LED which was about $50 at HD so I know for a fact that it is not the switch. Its not a huge deal for me because i dont see myself having them at their lowest setting but if this is something that is going to bother you then i'd say try a different brand.All in all, they are a keeper, love the color and price!

UPDATE 8/16/2017: After contacting the seller, SHINE HAI Direct, they quickly offered to give me a 25% refund to cover the downlight that stopped working. I have purchased a spare box of 4 lights in case I have more problems in the future and the exact look and color balance become unavailable. That is the danger of using this type of All-In-One LED fixture in a room with several installed. If one goes out in a year or two, you might have to replace all of them to keep a uniform look if the manufacturer changes the look of or discontinues the model. But that seems to be the way lighting is heading!ORIGINAL REVIEW: I like the lights, but had a few problems. I purchased 2 of the 4 packs and in each pack, I found 1 light where the white and black power conductors had pulled out of the orange plugs. I was able to push them back into place and they seemed to lock in OK, so probably not a long term issue. I have 6 downlight cans in the kitchen, so installed 6 of the 8 lights. They look great and function well with my Lutron C*L dimmer. The only problem is that after 1 week of use, one of the 6 stopped working. I substituted one of the spares and am now back to 6 working lights in the ceiling. I hope the others last a long time and that this one was just defective.

I have purchased and installed 22 of these lights. The ones I purchased were 13 watt, 4000 color. I couldn't be happier. They give the ceiling a clean look. They are super bright. The trim ring is large enough to cover any gaps around the can completely. I have some of the lights wired in series and connected to Lutron LED compatible dimmers. They go from full brightness to super dim with no problems. They don't flicker, make noise or shut off 1/2 way through the dimmer cycle like others have posted. I can only assume that they are using an old style dimmer that isn't made for LED's. I 'm also confused by those who have posted that the springs are weak and poorly attached. Maybe the company redesigned them but all mine worked fine. I installed 22 without a single problem. It could be that they were trying to install them wrong.There is a high up front cost with these but they look great, are super energy efficient and help seal the hole where the can is from air loss. They should pay for themselves over time.Edit - 6 months inI have had two lights go out completely. The first one was within a few weeks of install. Although only one light went out, Shine Glory Lighting sent me a new 4 pack immediately. Great customer service. Now, 6 months later, I have a another that has gone out. Supposedly they have a 5 year warranty. My return period on Amazon has expired, so I'll have to contact the manufacturer. As long as they replace it, all will be good.
