Smooth Transfers and Real Comfort in the Shower
Smooth Transfers and Real Comfort in the Shower This sliding shower chair has been a game-changer for making bathing safer and easier. The padded swivel seat glides smoothly across the bench, so moving in and out of the tub is far less of a struggle. The 360° swivel function is a nice touch because it reduces awkward twisting, and the pivoting arms give extra support for balance when standing up or sitting down. The padding is comfortable and doesn’t feel slippery when wet, which is important for confidence and safety. I also appreciate the adjustable legs—they let me set the height to fit both the tub and the user comfortably. The frame feels sturdy and well-built, yet it doesn’t take up excessive room in the bathroom. Assembly was straightforward, and everything lined up properly. The chair has a substantial feel to it—no wobbling or cheap plastic parts—and the sliding mechanism operates smoothly. One thing to be aware of is that it does require enough clearance along the side of the tub or shower for the sliding motion, so smaller bathrooms might need some measuring before purchase. Bottom line: A well-designed, high-quality shower chair that truly makes transfers easier and safer. The comfort, smooth glide, and stability set it apart from standard benches, and it’s worth the investment for anyone needing extra bathing support.

Worth every penny. Sturdy. Easy to assemble.
Diabetic with a foot wound so balance is off. Did not have the heart bypass, so dizzy and fall risk is part of life right now. This sturdy, well made chair is life changing for me. Before I had to have aid getting in and out, and sitting down into the tub was just as much a chore as getting out of it. This chair does exactly what it says it will do. It took five mins. to snap it together. It is sturdy with plenty of seat room. You can put the seat belt on it if you need it. I was worried it wouldn't be stable and a waste of money, but you can adjust both ends on the height so the side outside the tub is a bit shorter and the side inside the tub is longer making up for the difference. It was worth every penny. Life changing for me not to have to ask for help to bathe.

Absolute lifesaver!
This shower chair has been a life saver after my husband's surgery. Although it is bulky, I am able to fit it into our small bathroom. I am a shorter person, but able to carry it around without any issue. The assembly was relatively easy. Well made. Seat is comfortable. It is a little tough to slide the seat across when someone is seated in it, but that is a minor issue for us. The surface is easy to clean. Highly recommend!

Remarkably Sturdy and Smooth
So many things we liked about this Transfer Chair: 1) The chair locks in place nearly at the end of the frame making it easier for your person to sit down. 2) The armrests on BOTH sides of chair allow more places to grab and greater feeling of security. 3). The cushioned seat, back and armrests added a sense of comfort. 4) The sliding frame was beautifully finished, sturdy and smooth to the touch. 5) The mechanics of sliding, locking in place and swivel were perfect. 6) The whole set up was very stable. 7) It was super easy to put together and did not require tools. 8) The slide/swivel aspect eliminates the danger of damaging skin scooting across a bench into tub/shower particularly if your person is elderly and has thin, vulnerable skin Now-sad to say-we did have to return it. ONLY because of our tub. We have a claw foot tub that elevates the curved lip of tub to 22" off the ground. I had read a review by a man who managed to use it with a claw foot tub, so thought we could manage with 4.5" bathroom aid platform outside of tub with the chair frame on its highest height to assure clearance. It worked well but that put the chair quite high inside the tub. Mom could not touch the tub floor with her feet nor stand to wash "private areas." Added a toddler step in tub for her feet to remedy which worked but ultimately mom felt too insecure to try beyond our "rehearsals" while wearing clothes. I need to point out that she is 100 years old and can walk but it was all "too much" - which was disappointing but TOTALLY understandable. We ourselves did the rehearsals and loved it. The physical therapist also thought the swivel transport chair was great. She will be recommending it to other patients. Just to reiterate - it is a terrific, well made product that solves a lot of issues related to bathing!

Never fall in the tub again. Very impressed but need to make minor adjustments to shower.
Wonderful bath chair to prevent slipping! Purchased this bath chair for my 90+ year old father that had fallen in the shower previously. My husband put this together in a matter of minutes. He is a strong 200 lb muscular guy. He tested it out before my father used it and held him up perfectly. Seat swivels/rotates like a steering wheel, allowing complete turning access, then locks in place. Can be easily unlocked by a button. Half the bench sits inside the tub and half out, allowing person to never have to step in and out of a tub again. You sit down on the chair outside of the tub, turn the chair and lift your legs over the tub. There's a small latch that allows the chair to then slide into the tub on the rails without ever standing up. Comes with a seat belt for added protection. Arm rest can be unlocked and slid upward to give you more room or locked down to give added security. I recently had surgery on my back and will be using this myself to prevent from falling. Downfall is, I have to remove my bathroom shower doors and put up a curtain rod and shower curtain as there's not enough room to swivel the chair with shower doors on to get your legs in. The description does indicate that but I didn't realize how little room I'd actually have until I saw the bench in the small bathroom. A little bathroom changes prevents a harmful fall so it's worth it. This bench is sturdier than I thought it would be. Videos in the description are accurate. Legs on the bench can be easily adjusted to height preference. Can easily be disassembled for travel purposes and quickly reassembled which is nice. I would recommend this to anyone that is at risk of a shower fall with the premise shower doors definitely need to be removed.

Overweight & Bad left hip & Bad right Knee and works perfectly
Enough reviews are already made for me not to just regurgitate the accolades. I am writing this review specifically if you are heavy, have hip issues and or knee issues. I have all the above. I bought the bench originally for tub use as I did not think anything would work in my shower. It is a medium shower and I am a large person. The toilet is very close to the shower and nothing I could find would work. This chair does. I do not use the back as it VERY EASILY is removable. I have hip and knee issues so a regular bench or chair was quite difficult to use. This chair , for me, is worth the price. That said.. the price is a little steep but I would actually have to buy it even if it were more expensive as there is , for me, nothing else that will work. I am a little over 300 pounds and I feel very secure on the bench, I only can rotate it partially due to the very cramped quarters. I still feel very safe in the bench and the side arms give enough safety to easily rotate and then slide into the shower. Hope this helps. Because of my left hip and right knee I cannot rotate and step over the shower and this chair makes it a breeze. My weight feels very securely supported ( 320 ) so I am very pleased. On another note.. the manufacturer sends many follow up emails offering assistance etc. I did not need any. I was able to easily assemble the chair, while in a wheel chair, unassisted and move it to the shower unassisted and test it. I would suggest getting a special shower curtain to help with containing the water. I did not have the patience to wait so I just modified my shower curtain till I could purchase a specialty one. Amazon does sell them for use with transfer bench. Hope this helps.. Cheers update.. end of first week. Excellent. very stable. I would buy again for sure. Taking a shower was very sketchy trying to get in and out in such a small location. The chair made all the difference for me. I trust it totally now.

Heavy Duty Quality Bath Bench
Absolute quality bath chair although we cannot use it, it is just too big for the shower. Stability is wonderful, works smoothly, assembly was real easy. It's expensive but if you can afford it go for it. You won't be replacing this one anytime soon. I just need to figure out how I can use it in my Moms shower because it hangs over and we will flood the floor. I have to place her back to the back wall and it is just not feasible to give her a shower that way without soaking me and the floor. I wish it had some kind of slot for the shower curtain to fit across it so that it can be used. Now I'm on the search for so.ending else because she has a hard time getting in and out of my tub with my bathroom being too small to use this chair. I tried it and I would still have the issue of the curtain not being able to be placed to keep the water in the tub.

Problema reuelto
La escasa movilidad de la persona le impedía incluso entrar en la ducha. Con esta silla todo ha cambiado. Desde luego, la recomiendo.

Essential equipment for handicapped bathing
The aluminum frame seems strong and certainly won't rust. The seat and back rest is a firm material that repels water and cleans up easily. Be aware that deep soaker type bathtubs will require legs extensions. I made my own from tubing I happened to have on hand. It work great to help my wife who has MS into and out of the shower. I'd recommend it.

Extensions
Nicely made. Another UK buyer mentioned that they received no reply from the company regarding leg extensions. I had a similar experience. Which prompted me to source aluminium tubes locally. 30 outside diameter by 2mm thick for the horizontal; 28 by 1mm for the legs. Perhaps not 330lb capacity but ok for me. 9mm drill.
