I'm no computer scientist or anything but I did know that my ram had failed so I needed to replace it. Jumping up to 32 gigs wouldn't have made a difference in my 10 year old computer. Picked OLOy because of the reviews and price. Snapped into place easily.

Blue Screen of Death, DON'T BUY
I'm going to tell you guys now, don't buy this. After reading reviews and having the experience, buying this RAM is not worth your time. You'll end up encountering the blue screen of death after about a week or so, and you only get it periodically if you don't get it immediately. My little brother wanted some RAM so I bought this, I installed it into his computer and it ran and booted. A few weeks later, not even actually, he started experiencing the blue screen of death. So I go on over and I take a look at it after I installed it, make sure everything was right and I didn't do anything wrong. Well, it turns out that you won't get a log report in the BIOS if it fails. And after reading other reviews, this is also a common thing that people have. Also interesting how the company requests for a log report to get a refund. At least that's what I've read with reviews, I just spoke with the Amazon assistance and they immediately issued a refund. But if you're after your return date, good luck. Just go with a name brand like Corsair or T-Force, or something more reliable. Whatever this o l o y stuff is, it's garbage. I'm not even exaggerating. I hope this is helpful
