I have used this hygrometer for 1 year and it works great. living the south, I aslo have a dehumidifier. I need it indicate whether I should turn on dehumidifier. what battery does it use?

It takes a battery 2032. If I remember correctly it comes with one. It’s a very nice small thermometer with big numbers to see easily. Hope that helps.
