A much needed set in a long absence of pirate sets from Lego
Pirates is probably my fave Lego ranger after Star Wars and Superheroes. It's a shame Lego haven't done any pirate sets since 2015. So this set was an essential buy. Only built the ship, which was my main reason for getting it, and I really like the build. Some good and interesting techniques used. Ok, so it isn't Pirates of Barracuda Bay, but if you want an up to date Lego pirate ship for an affordable price, this is the one to buy.

Three for one
Bought for grown up daughter as a Christmas present I liked that it has three different models one can build but she found difficulty in that you have to search for the bits and decide how to sort and pack it away With a set for a single build, the instructions tell you which bags to open in the order of use. As three models can be made it makes searching for the pieces a bit tedious She does like her pirate ๐ขโ
