I see advantages and disadvantages of this type of protection. First, if you take the time to get the screen really clean, this goes on easier than any plastic cover I've used. (And I've installed dozens for people over the years.) Second, the optics through the protective cover are better than any plastic I have used before.Now to the disadvantages. There is no matte surface. This goes hand in hand with clarity. However, I find reflections very distracting. Second, finger prints and other smudges are much more noticeable than with a plastic cover. This most likely goes along with the reflecting (and not reflecting at smudges) more than plastic.I don't doubt it is better protection than plastic and it definitely a better feel with the pen on my Note 3. Looking at both option, I still think tempered glass protection is a better option than plastic.Edit: I just upped this from 4 to 5 stars. Why? My Note 3 in the Seidio extended case fell out of my holster while I was running a small excavator. (This is a rubber tracked vehicle weighing 1-2 tons, or the weight of a car.) I drove over the phone multiple times without knowing it and embedded the phone into the ground. My heart sank when I saw the cracked screen. But it worked fine and the display looked fine. The dual glass sandwich of the native phone glass and this cover was just enough strength to only break the protector. I just ordered another one. Best $8 I've spent in saving a costly phone repair. See the photo for the protector. I didn't take a picture of the phone screen, but it is as pretty as the day I bought it.

I've installed *a few* tempered glass protectors over the years on my phones. This wasn't my first rodeo. I had 2 bubbles in this one that I didn't have a prayer of getting out from under the glass. This most likely led to my second issue of getting a hairline crack right through the middle of it in less than a month with no drops or other impacts to it. On the plus side, there's no more air bubbles, so I have that going for me.Update: The seller initiated contact with me after reading the review that I left and sent a replacement glass. This one actually went on flawlessly and has no halo effect and no bubbles. Thanks, PoweraddDirect!

Perfect. I'm a big fan of these kind of screen protectors for any device. I had to get my screen fixed on my note 3 because id dropped it face down and it didn't survive the fall. So I used an old iPhone 5c while I saved the 280$ to fix my note. I bought a similar screen protector from this same company for the iPhone, had it less than a day and dropped it. (I know...) Well, when I peeled off the horrid-looking protector I found that my phone screen underneath the mess was in perfect condition. I bought a second protectors for my iPhone the same day, and six months later i got my note screen fixed and immediately bought this product for it. I wish I'd known about these the first time around but lesson learned! This screen goes on smooth with no air bubbles and lines up perfectly, and I have confidence with it being on my screen... now I just need to try to be more careful and hope I don't need another one right away :D

Fortunately I haven't tested this protector by dropping my phone or running over it as some have mentioned. I am pleased with the application and performance so far after about a month though. The trick when applying these things is applying them as soon as you take the phone out of the box and remove the protective sticker. I mean as in seconds. This prevents any dust from having a chance to hit the screen. I lined up the protector immediately and let it lay down gently. It formed a near perfect seal with only one small air bubble that I got rid of in less than week. Now you can't even tell it's there. I see how other people put their screen protectors on and it's pretty bad because they don't exercise any care or patience in applying it. A lot of complaints stem from people who don't know what they're doing, but then again that applies to many products these days.

I first bought this screen protector over a year ago. Just recently a heavy roller fell on my phone while it was in my jacket pocket. The screen protector cracked, but my phone is just fine. This screen protector definitely did it's job! I contemplated giving this a 5 star or 4 star. I decided to dock a point because with both screen protectors I've applied, a small portion of it wouldn't stick to the phone, and some dust a stuff can get in there. Anyway, the presentation is very good. Although I don't know what the blue sticker is for. Overall I would recommend this if you have a Note 3.

This is a great product! I put it on, later realizing that it was covering my camera. I took it off, then realized I put it on over my home button haha. Then tried it again, but this time it wasn't as stickey-wasnt expecting it to be. I then realized that at the top there are 2 round things on the corners that aren't nessecary so I went to cut them off. At this point im ordering it again. I went to fold it and toss it. It is alot thicker and powerful than I was expecting. It was like breaking a thick glass - just not getting cut. It is so smooth when using. I absolutely think this is great product. I just don't feel the 2 things at the top are necessary.

This literally saved my phone, which slipped out of my pocket on a roller coaster. When retrieved, the protective plastic case had been blown off, and the back cover, the battery, and the phone body were damaged, and lying in three different places. There was a huge 2mm dent at the top of the phone, and obviously the phone glass, and the glass protector were spider-web cracked across the entire face. BUT - there were no significant gaps or missing glass in the usable area of the phone, and IT STILL WORKS. Without the protector, I would have lost shards of glass on the phone screen, and it would most likely be unusable.
