When I opened the bottle, the capsules are all stuck together. I could not even loosen them by shaking the bottle. Thankfully the company sent me a replacement bottle.

Best Product for Hep C
I have done a fair amount of research on milk thistle products. I have found Life Extension Milk Thistle is by far the best product. "In addition to an optimal 80% standardization of the main active compounds, silymarin flavonolignans, Certified European Milk Thistle is further standardized to three highly active isomers: silibinins, isosilybin A and isosilybin B". According to the research I have done, the 80% standardization is very important in the processing of the herb. I'm not a scientist, but I do have Hep C and have for many years. I have had 2 failed interferon treatments, the last one in 2002. Since then I have done nothing except take milk thistle and even my Dr. is surprised at how well I'm doing/feeling. I can't endorse this product from a medical stand-point - I'm not a Dr. and have no formal medical training. All I know is that there is no other explanation for my well-being, except for this milk thistle. And my Dr. said there is NOTHING he could give me from the pharmacy that would help me. It seems that most products has 100mg to 250mg (on average) but Life Extension Certified European Milk Thistle contains 700mg. I've not been able to find any product like this one!

used this for years but developed an allergic reaction so had to stop. restored my liver back to health twice. the return of the product after developing the allergy was an event fraught with stress and difficulty.
