Not sure why that is not part of the original. I think they like the repetition and it makes it longer. A very cute book for touchy feely stage of development.

Adorable little book with a texture or feature o every page; however, I think compared to the other animal jelly cat books, the lion is a little repetitive (same texture for lion’s mane and tail; another soft and small texture for the lion’s nose). We also have the elephant book in our home and I think I like that one better…
