First anker product that has not worked
Updating my review - Anker reached out and provided a new docking station. I'm now a few weeks in and I've not experienced any cutting out of my second monitor. Thanks for the great customer care, Anker! ________________ I have had a great experience with most Anker products over the last 5+ years. This one is the exception. I've tried multiple (5 or 6) HDMI cables to run dual monitors off my work laptop and this cuts out incessantly from the HDMI attached to the device (monitor goes black for 2-5 seconds). My laptop runs dual monitors at work without issue. The only variable between work and home is this device. It has progressively worsened over the last 2 months to the point I have leave a review.

Works great for my wife who works from home half of the week
My wife and I both work remote half the week and in office half the week. She is provided one dock for laptop and she keeps that one at work. When she is at home, she needed a way to connect her laptop to the dual monitors in her home office without having to lug around the dock back and forth from work... since the concept of a dock is to leave it on the desk and take the laptop. I got her this one because she needed a cheap dock alternative. This connects to the laptop via USBC connection, and has 2 HDMI outputs for monitors and 2 USB ports for mouse and keyboard. What is especially nice about this one is that it allows her to use both attached monitors as individual extensions of her desktop (windows based laptop). Many other monitor splitters will only duplicate the additional displays, this one (because it connects via USBC) can handle the monitors all individually. It works great, and needs no additional power, it gets power from the USBC plug. If your laptop only has 1 USBC port and needs that one to charge the laptop, you will have an issue, but if you have 2 USBC ports and one is for charging and the other for this adapter, you are good to go. If you have a proprietary charging port and a single USBC plug, then you are good to go because the laptop is not charging from the USBC port. This was worth the purchase, and I have used a lot of Anker products both at home and at work. It worked instantly and didn't require any extra setup. If you have never used multiple displays, you may have to right click on your desktop, choose Display Settings, and arrange the displays to be in the correct alignment so when you drag from one to the other you are going to the right monitor. If you click "Identify", the monitors will display what Number the computer has labeled them, and you can tell the laptop what order that you have them on your physical desk by dragging the labeled display on screen to the right spot. You can rearrange them how you like, you can even offset the laptop if it sets lower on the desk than your monitors so that the drag to the other monitors actually flows realistically.

Works great
Switched jobs had to send back docking port previous company provided couldnt get all three of my monitors to talk or work right went on youtube the man in video said he used anker but it was an older model went on Amazon found this one works perfectly 5 stars. Im using a work Dell pro laptop and using two monitors so now I have three different images one on the laptop one on my left monitor and one on my right at first I wasn't going to use the ethernet port on anker was going to keep it directly connected to the laptop but without doing so i notice a glitch very minor glitch on my right mointor but immediately after i connected the internet ethernet cable into the port that stopped and still fast quick and seamless. Came fast within 8hrs of ordering it. Took it straight out the box plugged it into the laptop connected the two hdmi cables went to windows to display detected the 3 monitors set it in the direction i want things to go and went right back to making money!

Inexpensive and it WORKS
I was suspicious of a dual HDMI monitor USB-C device being real at this price point. Happily it does work. Plug your USB-C power supply into the hub and the hub into your USB C port. Anything plugged into the hub becomes available on the Windows device NOTE the device doesnt change the function of the O/S. For Mac it replicates the monitor (see various other reviews for that). For Windows it works. I hooked it up with two 27" ASUS monitors on an HP laptop, and an ASUS laptop. Both running current Windows 10. Both worked fine I changed the desktop settings for individual monitors and and plugged in the wired keyboard and mouse into the USB ports and I was operational. I did want more USB ports so i added a small USB-A hub separately, for a webcam and headset. It has been in use for over a month without issue. Pros: Inexpensive, dual HDMI monitors, small. Worked on 1st try without issue. Cons: It needs 2+ more USB-A ports, a USB-C port or two. Has limited max resolution (which wasnt a concern in my case). The USB cable to the computer should be longer. If the laptop is closed, the dual monitor is more consistent, ie no delay in recognizing the dual monitors . It does work with all 3, just slow to recognize the 2nd HDMI some times. I suspect it has something to do with the on board video card or USB-C video passthrough. **Did NOT test the ethernet port yet

Docking station with many types of ports
This docking station can accommodate many types of cords/ chargers. Worked easily for my two different types of monitors, web camera, keyboard, etc.

Good docking station - when it works
Generally, this docking station functions well and as expected in the year+ that I've had it. The number of ports works well for my setup of 2 external monitors + camera. The connecting cable from dock to machine is short, but not an issue for me. Unfortunately it will go haywire periodically, ~ 1-2x per month or so. One monitor will display gray, or the other, or neither monitor will be detected. In my favorite case, the entire setup blinked in and out of functioning for about 5 minutes before dying completely... in the middle of an interview. I've updated drivers, rebooted, reconnected, all the things, so I've just decided that my particular docking station is lightly haunted.

As advertised
Shipped fast and works as advertised. My wish is that the power supply (in various options) was available on the same page!

On Apple Silicon Macs you can only mirror the dual displays, this is NOT a Thunderbolt Dock...
For MacOS with Apple Silicon this is a USB-C hub, it's recognized as such in MacOS "System Information", it's not really a Dock and it's definitely not a Thunderbolt Dock (not saying they advertised it as such, I'm saying don't assume), so if you're hoping to use this to extend your desktop to two displays for MacBooks with Apple Silicon this will not support that, it will only mirror the desktop. Windows PCs will probably support extending right out of the box though, since it's only Apple Silicon with extremely strict display extending rules. If you want true desktop extending to dual displays for Macs with Apple Silicon that support dual displays (like the M3 Pro), you'll need the pricier Thunderbolt Docks. Belkin's Thunderbolt Docks work, I use their Thunderbolt 3 Dock Pro (ASIN: B07YLMJZXB) which works with my M3 Pro to give me desktop extending on dual displays with no software installation necessary. Their Thunderbolt 4 Docks should also work but their TB4 docks are either all way more expensive than the TB3 or have less ports. Also note that the hub consumes power on its own to provide power to the ports, so if you plan on charging your MacBook through this by first connecting a USB-C charging brick to the Power Delivery port on this hub, then plugging this hub into your MacBook, you'll need a USB-C charging brick with sufficient wattage to compensate for the loss from the hub. 65W or greater is definitely enough, I personally use an Anker 67W, and it works perfectly, 45W might work too, you can try it before you decide to buy a new brick. If the wattage isn't enough to compensate for this hub, the MacBook will tell you it won't charge, and it will only charge while you're not using it. Since the hub consumes power on its own to provide power to its ports, if you leave the hub plugged into your MacBook without a charger plugged into either, the hub will drain your MacBook faster than if the hub weren't plugged in at all. I left the hub plugged in without any charger connected and it sapped the battery down to 40% in a few hours with the MacBook lid closed sleeping. Without the hub connected it doesn't lose 1% when it's sleeping the entire day.

Worth the price and so far it's great.
So far very pleased with this device. It's only been a few months but it seems to have done the job of properly linking my computer and 2 HDMI connected 24 inch monitors. My printer is also connected through this so I just plug in the USB c to my laptop and I'm good to go. One thing I like a lot so far is that it doesn't get warm at all like a few I had before. It remains quite cool to the touch. It seems to be shake proof too, in that I can jostle it around by accident and my connections don't flinch or flicker.

Indispensable product for seamless work experience
So far, it's been a great product. It's practical, works out of the box and just makes sense to have.

Very compact, well built & functional (for now)
This is my replacement hub for the Lention that stopped working after 18 months. I had rated that product 5 Star and it was truly great product till one day it decided not to deliver power from the PD port to laptop. Without power supply passing through, it was useless and I scrapped it. Then started my search for a new hub - the biggest challenge though how to identify one that combines good build quality and functionality with longevity. So, I decided to go with known non-chinese brands and Anker came top on the list. So far, the hub is working like a charm, just like Lention. I am hoping that this will last for at least 3 years to justify the price premium. One small gripe is that the USC C cable attached to the hub is too short (15 Cms, I guess). I keep my laptop in a vertical position with lid closed on a stand and work on the monitor. The USB C port on my laptop is on the upper end of the laptop and when I connect the hub, the hub keeps dangling awkwardly. Had to go with 0.5 M extension cable! I will update this review if this fails in less than 3 years!
