This is the best product out there for the best price. This beats any other big box store or wholesaler warehouse. I use this for my baking breads, cakes, muffins, Banana Bread. It actually tastes amazing. I have gotten Wally world brand before and tasted it. And it tasted like alcohol. You\n Get a big plastic bottle and it lasts 3 times as long for half the cost of what you would pay for nasty stuff at the grocery store. This is non-gmo, no artificial colors, no artificial flavors. This is from all natural ingredients, it's gluten, free and kosher. This is unlike high alcohol vanilla extracts. This is an award-winning low alcohol. Bake proof freeze proof formula that retains great flavor and does not evaporate. When you're baking or freezing, you will still have an amazing smooth melt in your mouth, vanilla taste. This company has been around since 1868. They haven't been around for that long. Because they make a bad product, they've been around that long because they know exactly what they're doing. The bottle is super cool looking too I just wish they would put it in glass instead of plastic would be my only request, pure vanilla and it's a rich flavor great product. Good company, 5 stars. It's easy to use & super high concentration. as soon as you take the lid off, You get an amazing scent. It smells like fresh vanilla in your house.

Love cooking with this, the scent and flavor are nice and strong. I went through a bottle of this faster than any other vanilla extract I used simply because it adds such great flavor!

This is an excellent quality product, this is my fourth bottle of this Brand of vanilla, used in all my baking and candy making. Don't waste money buying artificial stuff.

My mom always bought the cheap artificial vanilla I remember growing up. I always thought she couldn't afford the good stuff and this kind was inferior. When I began baking I always thought it was the pure vanilla that was superior when you bake. Now I'm learning that actually the pure vanilla should only be put in food that won't be cooked in a hot oven. Think frostings, puddings, creme brulee, etc. The thing is, when you use pure vanilla in baking, the alcohol evaporates in the heat and along with that goes much of the vanilla compounds (flavors). This "baking vanilla" has the same characteristics as the pure but it's made specifically for baking in a hot oven. You retain the complex flavors of the vanilla (vanillin) as it doesn't go through the process of any alcohol burn off and the vanilla flavor remains and comes through more pronounced in your baked goods. Watkins is an excellent brand as they make this a one-of-a-kind baking vanilla all their own.

Actually a decent sized bottle for the price and this is way better quality than anything i've found at my local stores the smell is absolutely heavenly.

I bake for a living. I cannot tell the difference in this and 100% pure vanilla. unless your baking at a 5 star location, use this. it just enough real vanialla in it to be good. I do not recommend 100% Imitation vanilla unless a recepie calls for it.

This brand of "Original Gormet Vanilla" is mild and not as strong as I would like. For being "original", it is "naturally and artificially flavored". It is not as rich nor as aromatic or as dark and rich as Kirkland brand or McCormick's however given the $27-$30 price tag of the ones just named, and seeing the skyrocketed prices of Vanilla lately, this does just fine for basic baking. I use it in smoothies, and baking, and other stuff and it works ok. It does release the characteristic aroma of real vanilla but not as strong as it could be. Taste is betweem medium mild so you might want to use a little more. However, using more is only so good up to a point. More doesn't mean better or more flavorful as some of the vanilla does cook out with heat. In spite of the critical review, this is a very good vanilla and I have bought it repeatedly. I still think it's worth the price I paid of $11 plus change. And free shipping! I had originally gave it a four star but moved it to five because I wanted to rank it standing on its own merit and not necessarily because it didn't match other stronger vanillas I had tried, price considered as well for what you get. Also, five stars for its shipping speed! I ordered on a Friday and this item came in the following Monday! Can't beat that! My other items ordered at the same time came six days later but that was okay because I got what I really needed in this order in a very timely manner! Glad to have this vanilla since there seems to be no end of the price hikes in sight of other more concentrated brands of vanilla. Photos are attached.
