This toy is so much fun! I’m a grow man playing with this on every beach trip or random back yard day! I even can flip over my farther in laws when he flips his little one with out any issue. I wish its bucket was a little stronger but you start learning controls better and adjust. It also last at least an hour of nonstop play and that is it working not just driving it! I absolutely love this thing and it was a random gift from My Lady! Made well. Metal and hard plastic! Doesn’t feel cheap or junky! Easy to use and you can grow with it for a more versatile and challenging use!

This Double E Volvo RC Dump Truck toy is a great entry level RC dump truck. My 6 year old son loves playing with RC cars and recently discovered RC construction vehicles. The controls are fairly self explanatory with photo labels for the raise and lower dump bed functions. The articulation turning took some getting used to because it doesn't snap back to straight like a regular RC car. But I think that's a realistic difference, so not a complaint. The dump mechanism works well and seems strong enough for the toys, sand, mulch and other lighter materials something this size would reasonable be expected to carry and dump. The battery life is decent. My son played with it for about an hour with other toys. It wasn't running the whole time because he was filling it with mulch, or digging with another toy, but it worked the whole time. It does shut itself off after a little bit which preserves battery life. One feature I really appreciate is the ability to turn off the engine sound. It's very authentic and sounds a lot like a construction site, but it is nice to be able to play with it in the living room and not have it always sound like a construction site :-) . I'll list the following as opportunities for improvements, but I suspect most of them would be addressed in the next tier up in toy lineup. It is not super powerful. This works great on hard floors and low carpets, it's not built for off-roading. The power only comes from the back 2 tires, so if they get off the ground, it's stuck. We tried to build a little ramp out of plywood for it to back up and unload it's contents into a container. It didn't really have enough power for the incline (about 15 degrees over a 5 foot stretch). We discovered the ability to turn off the sound came by pressing and holding the horn button. I'm assuming this is spelled out in the instructions, but I didn't notice it in my 10 second review of them. With all of the other images explaining the functions on the remote, it would be nice to see a sound mute icon or something. Overall we really like this truck. My son loves learning and figuring out how things work and this has been an awesome addition to our RC fleet!

My son goes completely insane for this cool RC Excavator. It is a very strong electronic. It stays charged for days off one charge, it is very simple for his to use on his own. It has many features and will be gifted to a younger cousin once he outgrows it.

It's a nice truck but needs more power to the bed and not just being rear wheel drive but other then that better grip tires as well overall nice truck

This is a great product. My son loves it. Endless fun.

This RC excavator is a lot better than I expected and pretty impressive. I was on the fence between this model and a couple more, but I’m glad I chose this one. It’s larger than I expected and I really like the metal bucket. The rubber tracks are durable and so are the attachments. I am also, by no means, a guru when it comes to using remote controls but the PlayStation style controller makes it super simple. The controls are easy to get used to after playing around with it for a short amount of time. The battery life has a good charge and are also inexpensive for spares. If you’re deciding between this model and another, go with this one for sure.

This makes a great toy for little kids. Ordered this with the intention on taking it to the beach but after testing it around the house with mulch, grass and small limestone rocks(#8s), I doubt it will do any better in the sand. It is not very strong & gets stalled when trying to “dig” loose gravel or mulch. My son loves to drive it around and the battery is decent. Will definitely be looking into higher end units for simulated digging. Also, controls are ISO and cannot be changed to Deere.

GOOD FOR USE ON CARPET AND OR HARD SURFACES. THIS RIG DOES NOT OPERATE IN GRASS, SAND OR DIRT. IT IS JUST 2 WHEEL DRIVE AND THE UNIT JUST SPINS UNLESS ON HARD PACK. GOOD RIG FOR A KID INDOOR.
