Just the Best Tactical BDU
LOOK NO FURTHER! In fear of sounding like an infomercial, here is my assessment of the Aggressor Flex - Tactical Pants (light Olive). The title I gave this review says it all. These tactical BDU style pants have to be the best made quality tactical pants I’ve ever owned. I am a huge fan of BDUs and have been purchasing them since I was 17. I’ve always been a fan of the American made cotton BDUs – which have never let me down – being durable, light and comfortable, but as the years have gone by, I’ve found it harder to find the right BDUs style tactical pants. As with the expeditions I am involved with – these style of pants are essential. So, when I did my research and found the Aggressor Flex - Tactical Pants; I did my happy dance. The Aggressor Flex - Tactical Pants are well made and have a fine fit – for the size I chose. I am 6’ 4” with a thin build being 160lbs (yes I am a tall and thin man). I chose the 30x34 size and it was a perfect fit all around. I picked the lighter shade of olive, which really turned out nicer than the picture which was shown – feeling that it turned out better than expected. It is true that, the color on your screen may vary compared to the actual shade of the chosen color you’re interested in. The entire constructions of the pants have superior quality made stitching – pockets are deep and secured. The rip-stop type material they chose is outstanding – taking all kinds of punishment and shields well against cold weather, yet they breathe well in warmer times. The ankle (straps/pull straps) are an incredible and genius choice of construction, wrapping well around your ankles and hiking shoes. The pants move well – giving the right fit around the waist, holding to my thin frame extremely well, yet no binding in those "certain areas". There was no excessive tightness anywhere that might have restricted my movements – allowing someone to wear these all day with no issues. Trust me when I say – these pants are tough. My expeditions are long, tough and require me to carry equipment up mountains for hours on end, as I hike through dirt, mud, rivers and steep cliff sides. The water resistant material did exactly what was stated, beading the water on the pants without soaking in – just rubbed off the excess moister and all is dry again. From this point on, the Aggressor Flex - Tactical Pants will be my first choice of tactical ‘adventure’ pants and I WILL be purchasing many more moving forward. Again, out of all the tactical pants here on Amazon, these Aggressor Flex - Tactical Pants are hands down the number one quality BDU style pants on the market – especially for the price.

The best tactical for the price
When I received these cargo/tactical pants by MTAC, I was immediately surprised at the quality. These pants are incredible compared to others I have owned. The fabric is heavy, but still not a problem in 90 degree weather. They have seven pockets and carry plenty of EDC. The amazing seven belt loops will support whatever you’re carrying on your belt. The belt loops are generous and will take a very thick belt (.24) or larger. These pants are made in the Ukraine and are in a price range that is less expensive than other brands but great quality. The cargo pockets on the thighs are Velcro closure and have a zipper closure on the sides. I would have preferred a single top closure of a zipper or possibly snaps because the Velcro has only one touch point and may not be as effective over time. I found myself checking the Velcro closures repeatedly to make sure they were secure. Finally, how do they look? These are just a regular straight fit, but the fit is excellent, although, a little on the smaller side, it’s a close fit (little excess fabric) and the pant legs can be secured with built in Velcro. The pants are very comfortable and my first outing was roughly 18 hours and, just about all liquids are repelled by the material. If you’re in between sizes, you may want to size up. I rarely give reviews, but I felt these pants deserved one.

Durability!
You’re paying for the material and craftsmanship and you’re getting it. Excellent material, stitching, multiple pockets, easy access hand pockets, large Velcro straps at ankles. The fit is perfect, not too baggy or too tight. The waist fit is very forgiving and excellent belt loops if needed. They look professional. I use these as a crossing guard, and expect them to last for years. They’re 100% worth the extra money. Write it off as a work expense!

so far, Im diggin 'em
Buy tru-spec brand pants instead.... half the price, and roomier. First impressions are pretty great. The size chart is nearly spot on. I normally wear a 32x34 so ordered the M/L size according to the chart. They are a little long, so if your wear your pants a little long to begin with you may want to consider ordering a size shorter. The materiel appears to be a rip stop fabric as advertised. While I haven't put that to the test, it has the typical cross hatch pattern of rip stop. The material is thin though. Thinner then I expected. I was expecting something close to the Riggs Work Wear pants i usually wear, but these are much lighter and thinner then those. This makes them nice and airy, light and comfy. Hopefully it does not hinder their durability. The front hip pockets are nice and big which is great. Both have a reinforced wear patch where you would clip a knife, multi-tool, flash light etc. So lefty or righty you're covers The patch is of a heavier material then the pants them self which should help with repeated draws, but I really would have rather seen a leather material. The cargo pockets are a good size. I can place my entire hand in them and splay it nearly all the way. I wouldnt say I have tiny girl hands either.... There are two ways to access this pocket. The flap has only a single hook and loop closure which with the way the pocket is shaped should be plenty secure. There is also a zipper....right down the middle of the pocket. Im not sure the idea behind this one, but its there. The back pockets are also a decent size. Then there is the "front" pocket. It fits a 5.56 Pmag perfectly. You can sit, climb, crouch and it will not dig in to your abdomen. But it isnt so low your need to reach to grab it. There is only one on the left leg, so south paws may have a hard time drawing from its location, but its there. This pocket can also be used to hold a phone. I have a Samsung Note 8 in an Otterbox style case and it just fits in there nice and snug. It does not tuck all the way in the pocket, as the pocket is not that deep. For comparison sake a Pmag in its widest sport (not at the base however) is 2.65 and my phone in its case is 3.42. Anything wider and I don't think it would fit in this pocket. Of course thickness will also be a determining factor on what will and will not fit here. One issue I see with keeping your Thousand dollar phone in this pocket is if you have anything hard (keys etc) in the front hip pocket, and you fall on the phone, it will come in contact with the phone screen, although separated by fabric, there will likely be damage to your phone. So think about what you have in that pocket if you're keeping your phone in the front "mag" pocket. The M-Tac pants also move with you nicely. The gussets in the knees and crotch allow you to move and note have the pants pinch, ride up, or impair movement. I bought these pants for hiking and range days, so that was important for me and they deliver. there are a few things I dont like though, however they are minor. The zipper is short...lets face it, a longer zipper would make it easier to deploy your "side arm" in a hurry. Maybe thats nor a concern for our Ukrainian counterparts. The ankle cuffs have an elastic shock cord in them along with the hook and loop cuff. I personally could do with out both, but the shock cord may just have to go permanently. That wont be hard to do either as there is a small slot to access it, so a little snip, pull it out and its gone. Thats all I have for this review for now. I've only had a change to wear them around the house and take the monsters for a short walk, so I have not gotten to put them through the rigors or backpacking, a training day at the range, or a work day. If the quality becomes a concern Ill be sure to update this review.

allmost perfict.
nice pants. these are rip stop type of the thinner type. good for most seasons as there not the real heavy type BDU pants. the pockets function is what i wanted, not big cargo saddlebags. the pants stretch in the front sorta like what true spec pants but not as nearly done. there more not straight leg like the true spec or other brands and like that. there a hidden shock cord in the bottom leg as well as velcro.... i think they could just passed on the velcro with that. not as stand out as the G3 pants. knee pads are hidden inside threw a side entry, you may miss this if you dont look well. phone pocket is a big deal in pants and it allmost where it should be... i like the side better as we sit alot and big phones are not as comfortable upfront. everything fuction as i wanted. not too stand out.... not too baggy... NOTE: you be cold in these below 50 F as the fabric has a cool feel to them. the size is a slight bit smaller than other brands so if you wear L1 or L2 themals buy next size up for winter. these are great for all season and function great if you have L1 silkweight under them. they wash easy too...and wont wrinkle of shrink like cotton. normally if pants have alot of nylon in the they be colder than poly cotton....these allmost feel like a hybrid mix. belt loops are good.... two button close. the zipper feels short....so you have to drop the pants a tad. M-TAC has some nice stuff and these pants solve a issue in many tatical pants design as most all are way too baggy. not too slim, more like just right and close to the G3 style allmost. i owned LAPD/511/true spec/CQR and i have to say these are allmost perfict. price however i think is sorta high.....

Good quality tactical pants
These pants were a great value and quality for the price point. I honestly wasn't expecting that, considering what they cost, but they have been great. Have been used on many occasions and in many different environments since purchasing, and they have held up great. There are many pockets and the size chart was pretty accurate, as well as an expandable waist. They stretch out very comfortably and they have velcro straps around the ankles to secure them up very nicely. Have been washed many times and it has not changed the fit or color. I would not categorize them as a winter specific or cold weather pant, but they have done fine in those conditions for me. Very comfortable for various working environments and I have worn them for some very long days and have been comfortable and they held up very well. Pros: Great value for money Many deep pockets and smaller options Velcro ankle straps Many different color options Knee pads included Would recommend and will probably be purchasing again in a different color.

Pretty good
Good for a dry winter/cool weather. Use it on night patrol. If fits and form fitting. The knee pads are separate purchase but light weight, flexible and comfortable, but not ultra protective. I'd say good enough for the added knee pads. The pants don't flex but I ordered a size up if you like it that way. It a good combo of loose and fitting. It definitely fits true on waist.

Great pants but sent wrong ones
The legs run a little longer. But I love the pants. Also was sent the wrong color and pants. I bought for prime 2 day shipping. Had to wait another week before getting me original purchase. But the pants them selves are great

I’ll never buy anything else
These are unbelievable value for the money. Super comfortable, stays cool in the heat and warm in the cold, fit is perfect and I love the flexible waistband for adding base layers during the really cold winter months. I didn’t think my iPhone 13 Pro Max with the otter box case would fit in the phone pocket, but indeed it fits nicely. The zipper entry on the cargo pockets is invaluable for accessing pockets when wearing coveralls, and having inserts for knee pads is a blessing I never knew I needed. Hands down these are the best work pants I’ve ever had, and are just as good as an everyday wear for those who are generally just hard on clothing like I am. Honestly can’t recommend these highly enough, and I’ll never buy anything else for work or active wear. I bought these after initially cheaping out on a pair of cargo style pants which were inferior to these in every way. Don’t make the same mistake, buy these and you absolutely won’t regret it, they’re worth every dollar and more. Update: I finally ripped a seam! After a full year of wearing 5 days a week for work, the crotch seem finally gave in and tore a bit when stepping down backward off a flat deck trailer. I wear fairly fitted coveralls and so the crotch has been chafing all this time. I noticed the wearing along the crotch seem months ago, but it held strong until said descent from a trailer. That said, the tear hasn’t widened in the slightest. I’ll be getting them repaired to continue getting as much life as possible out of them. I’m beyond impressed with these pants, and am amazed it took a full year for something to finally give out. I still stand by my initial review: these are the only pants I will ever purchase for workwear. It’s unfortunate that the trade relations between US & Canada seem to have impacted the price, so I’ll have to make a trip across the border and find a location to buy my next pairs. But even considering the higher cost, I think they’re well worth it!

Brilliant trousers, best tactical trousers I’ve owned.
Having read all the reviews and having now purchased these trousers I think they are great, by far the best tactical trousers I have owned. Lots of movement and all the pockets are in the right place for comfort. All reviews show issues with the size, definitely order a size below your normal waist size, I am normally a 40 inch waist but ordered a 38 which is a little loose but nothing a belt doesn’t solve I think a 36inch waist would have been too tight. Very happy with these trousers, I will be ordering more.
