So far, I think these batteries are going to be great. Sure a lot cheaper than buying at the store. They seem to last as long as the Duracell's I have been using. Actually, I've had a lot of duds in all brands bought locally. I live in the desert & I think what's happening is the truck parks somewhere for lunch maybe & things inside gets hot. These batteries can't take much heat without unsealing the little sticker tab. Once that happens, the battery starts discharging just like it was in a hearing aid.If I start running into bad batteries, I'll up-date this review but, for now, I think they're great. Also, they come with a handy little key-chain plastic thing with a snap close lid that will hold a pair of spare batteries. (with the tabs still on)Update 11/6/17: Just about finished my 1st box. Not one dud in the whole box. Consistent performers. Very pleased. Just ordered another box.2nd update 4/20/18: Still like 'em. I've modified the little keychain spare batt. holder .I've glued a tiny magnet into the slide out handle & it works perfect to insert a fresh batt. into the hearing aid. I was always kind of fumble fingered trying to handle these tiny batteries. Now with my "magnetic holder", it's much easier. Hearclear ought to build a magnet into their keychain. It really works!

These Batteries Are JUNK!!! DO NOT BUY!
They claim they're long lasting blah blah blah .... Mine were delivered on Feb 17 .... Here we are on Feb 20 and I have already used 4 batteries and my hearing aid just started beeping to alert me of a low battery. I take the batteries out at night while I sleep. . . I typically have my hearing aid in front about 7am to 10 or 11 pm. I have had to change the batteries every day, and in 2 cases twice in a day ... Hense the 5 batteries in THREE DAYS!!! What a joke! Thank god I bought 60 batteries to power my trash bag. Batteries should last for about 70 hours from what I've read ... This is my first hearing aid, I use it for treatment of tinittus I'm not hard of hearing so it's not like the device is turned up super high either .... I use it to enhance frequencies 4k to 6kh .... Normal batteries should last days if not a week maybe slightly longer .... In any case more than a few hours smh .... Yeah the cost is cheap ... But that's exactly what the product is also cheap AF JUNK..... Thanks for stealing my $$ .... You get about 4 batteries worth of life in a package of 60 ... Yay

The batteries are difficult to get out of package, but all of the batteries are packed this way now ...

By Far the Worst Hearing Aid Batteries I've Ever Used!!
I've worn hearing aids for 15 years and have used every brand of hearing aid battery available, and these are BY FAR THE WORST hearing aid batteries I've ever used.First, the packaging is terrible: you need a pair of scissors to open the hard plastic shell. If a battery dies while I'm driving, I have to wait until I get home to replace it. That also makes these batteries extremely inconvenient when traveling.Second, when you cut the plastic shell open, it produces two slivers of hard plastic that are transparent (so you might not even be able to see them to dispose of them) and have sharp points at either end. If those shards fall on the floor, they are a menace to small children and pet dogs.Third, the batteries themselves are inferior. Out of every package of 8 batteries, at least 1 loses power prematurely. When 1 of my batteries dies, I replace the batteries in both hearing aids. That means, for all practical purposes, 1 out of every 4 pairs of batteries has to be replaced prematurely.DO NOT BUY THESE HEAR-CLEAR HEARING AID BATTERIES!

Batteries I can depend on
I had bought batteries at my local hearing aid office & tried 6 & they didn't work. I needed batteries I could count on & that is why I ordered from Amazon. The first 2 batteries I put in worked great. I am VERY satisfied with this purchase.

Getting long use per battery :Update with 2nd order :(
I was down to the last of the Beltone batteries that I got with my hearing aid purchase. When these arrived I opened one, waited 5 minutes and then compared the starting voltage to my just opened Beltone after it had also had a 5 minute wait. Voltages were nearly the same. Then I resealed the HearClear battery until the Beltone one was used up, which was 9 days later. I unsealed the HearClear battery again, waited 5 minutes and put it in. It also lasted 9 days. I'm using my second HearClear battery now, on it's 10th day.My order of HearClear batteries came in February 2023, with a Dec 2026 expiration date, so they were good and fresh.I'm very satisfied to date with the price, performance and value of these batteries.2nd Order - not liking so much. They've changed the battery and the packaging. The packaging is now child-proof and adult frustrating. You have to use scissors to cut through heavy plastic to release each battery from the package and then shake and pry it out of the package. Life of the battery is reduced by a day or two. Batteries are obviously of different manufacture from my prior order.

Poorly packaged product
Not very long lasting and extremely difficult to open individual batteries without scissors which is very inconvenient when not at home and require changing batteries. Would not recommend

Batteries work fine but package design changed for much worse!
These batteries work fine and the price was decent. The first time I bought these, they came on a card that had a little window/flap design in the back. As you rotated the wheel, you could pull down the flap and take the batteries out the little window, as many other brands of batteries do. U see from other reviews that this change was made to increase the child-proofing, but they changed it so you have to cut open the plastic around the little wheel to take out the batteries and it's really difficult to do so. Luckily I have some of the old cards left so I tear the backs off the new cards and fit the batteries into the spaces on the old cards. It's a pain to do all that and I will not be buying these again unless they come up with a new package design.
