If you haven’t read any of author Jane Henry’s Dark Irish Mafia Romances, then please start with NOLAN, her latest release. While those who have long been fans of this amazingly talented author can attest, Ms. Henry’s writing weaves a web around her readers’ hearts and minds. There are a couple of spoilers if you start the series with this third book, but since all of Jane Henry’s books end with the promise of a happy ever after, the spoilers are less likely to keep one from reading Keenan and Cormac. Once you have experienced a novel written by author Jane Henry, had a taste of the world she has built around the McCarthy Clan, and have seen that the magic is not merely in the knowledge that a couple is together but in the experience of HOW that came about, you’ll be purchasing the first two novels . . . This Dark Irish Mafia Romance continues delving into the delicious and oh so dominating men of the McCarthy Clan. This story focuses on Nolan the youngest McCarthy and it is a wild and spicy/hot adventure that will leave you fully satisfied.Nolan has had a love/hate relationship for Sheena since he first saw her at the club. He knows she loves to submit but he doesn’t know why she is so set on destroying his family. He takes all the measures necessary to bring her to their home to interrogate and find out what she is hiding from them!Sheena doesn’t trust the McCarthy and believes they are responsible for the death of her father and since then her mother has checked out and her siblings are struggling to survive and she will stop at nothing until they pay! However, the attraction and pull she feels towards Nolan makes her second guess everything she thought she knew.This is an adorable story of family, commitment, and love. Current chief is Keenan who requires Nolan to prove he’s “back” by finding out from Sheena, a local investigative reporter, what she’s up to. Both Keenan and Cormac have already had their own books. It is Nolan’s turn.Sheena blames the McCarthy’s for the death of her father and the breakdown of her family after his death. She’s determined to get the scoop on them and do an exposé story to ruin them. Her plan is to go to The Craic, a BDSM club where she has seen many of the Clan. She’s hoping to find Nolan with whom she has a little “history” from a previous book. She has masochistic tendencies which meshes perfectly with Nolan’s desire to pair pain with pleasure. In disguise she goes to the club and gets just what she wants, but maybe what happens eventually is not at all what she expected.I loved this book. Now, I have to read Keenan’s and Cormac’s books! There were quite a few OMG moments like when they share a shower and wash each other…If you like mafia stories, bad guys who are really good guys and steam, get this book. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book and it comes highly recommended.

Nolan is the third and latest book in the Dark Irish Mafia Romance Series by Jane Henry. Nolan is the youngest brother in the McCarthy Clan. He is put in charge of dealing with the investigative reporter Sheena who has a vendetta against the McCarthy Clan. Nolan is trying to help his family take him seriously and is now sober. Nolan loves kink and uses these methods to get information from Sheena. Sheena is a feisty and independent woman. She has and continues to handle many tough situations in her life, but she has a vulnerable side as well and always willing to make sacrifices for the ones she loves. Sheena enjoys the punishments that Nolan gives her, but continues to be a firecracker with lots of sass. Sheena has many secrets that she is hidden from Nolan. He starts to care for Sheena and feels protective of her. Nolan and Sheena have a strong connection, sizzling chemistry and are attracted to each other from the start.Nolan is a must read story with well developed characters. Jane Henry gives the readers an emotional and incredible story. It is a unique story with a family that you want to know more about. Jane Henry’s story will keep you captivated from the first page to the very end. Nolan has suspense, danger, steamy scenes with kink & BDSM, loyalty, and love of family. I hope that there are more stories coming soon for the secondary characters. I love Nolan’s story and highly recommend it.5 Stars

This story is very much started during the previous story, When Sheena is part of the plot to kidnap Aileen, and she writes a few stories that land her in trouble with the Clan. This story picks up after Nolan is sent to check up with her after some more negative press for the Clan. It ends up she tells Nolan about her family and he decides to rescue them and return them to his families home... then she learns she was lied too and she begins to fall for Nolan who has already kinda fallen for her. There is a few battles of a sort. It's a pretty good series although a little more action and maybe more travelling away from the little town the Clan seems to own might be interesting.

I have so enjoyed these books of the Dangerous Doms...every story a different journey for a brother to find his love. Every book draws you closer and closer to the way of their world. A must read...start from book one..you will have a great time and learn something new...

There are a few spelling/grammar issues. The story line is a little wishy washy. The characters have a bit of depth and emotional walls that need to be broken down but it's all spelt out for you by the character themselves.I finished it but I didn't love it.The author has far better books, this was a bit of a let down.

Another great book in this series, each one seems to her get better. Can't wait to read the next book.
