This is my favorite thing I’ve ever bought on Amazon. I am able to carry my grandson with ease, even at 30 pounds, without any discomfort at all. It is a game changer, for sure. It completely supports all his weight and all I have to do is make sure he doesn’t fall off. No more aching arms, shoulders, and back. I’ve had it awhile and it is holding up very well. Strangers comment positively on it almost every time I use it in public. The central pouch has a nice capacity to fit some travel wipes and a few diapers. Plus a snack if desired.

Long story short, if you are looking for a carrier for a baby to toddler, this is by far the best I've used. This is the second product I ordered. The first one was a different brand with similar looking, but didn't have the large packet under the seat (the seat was solid) and had no shoulder strap. The first one tremendously saved my back and relieved the pain when carrying my baby around. So when it was a little worn and my now toddler still wants to hop on me when going out, I started looking. Knowing what works well as a carrier, I was super excited when seeing this product. The carrier itself frees your hand (one hand, you still need to hug your baby with one hand since there is no bucket to tie the baby on you) and instantly relieves the tension and weight on your back. I can carry my almost 40 pounder to walk for a mile without problems, v.s. without it, I have to put the toddler down to rest my back every couple of blocks. This product is an upgrade to me because of the large pocket under the seat. A toddler typically needs less stuff than a baby, so I have been using a tiny toddler backpack as the diaper bag for dining out and quick trips. But holding an extra bag still is not convenient, since I would like to leave my hands free to chase the little one as needed. Now, instead of hauling a diaper bag, I can put 2-3 pull-ups, a slim wipe pack, a juice box, and some snacks in, and I don't feel much extra weight on my waist. I havn't used the strap because the carrier works fine without it. I think for heavier toddlers or longer walk, the strap will help hold the weight better. We are planning on a long flight trip. My plan is to use this carrier as my purse and to carry a backpack as the diaper bag with all random stuff needed on the plane. Whoever designed this--Thank You!

I've tried the expensive brand and this off brand and you can definitely tell the difference. The popular brand is more comfortable and the quality is better. It is also built to be more convenient. This one does its job and the price is reasonable. I like that this have a sling around the baby but I use it to help balance weight with my shoulder. I dont use it to protect baby as it doesn't seem stable. If you use the sling over the shoulder, it does put more weight on your shoulder making it uncomfortable so it's better to just not use the sling. The seat does dig into my pelvic, idk if it's because I'm more petite. The popular brand one also dig into my pelvic as well. I just have to make adjustments to void it digging. The pockets are ok but not as good as the popular brand. I didn't like that the big pocket under the seat was shared with the plastic seat. So when you're trying to grab something you'll end up touching the plastic seat as well. In the poplar brand, the seat is separate. Because I am petite both the popular brand and this one, I had to tighten it to the end of the velcro and even then, it was still a little loose. Thr velcro on this one is pretty sturdy but the way it was designed isn't as great as the popular brand. Overall, it is convenient and does its job at relieving some weight off your arms but not all. You'll still have to use some strength to keep it up so it doesn't droop down. It's not the best but it works if you're on a budget so get it as soon as you can. My daughter is 2 yrs old and I just got it. She will out grow it soon. If my daughter was a newborn or still very young, I would splurge and get the popular brand because it definitely is better especially if you do a lot of walking or traveling.

This is the wife of the account holder. I looked at several versions of this hip carrier before settling on which to buy. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. It came just in time for a doctor appointment for my son's 2 month checkup so great road test for the new baby gadget. I was able to pack a slim case of wipes, (3) size 3 diapers (got a big baby, what can I say?), a pacifier on a lanyard, a very large muslin swaddling blanket, a change of clothes and a burp cloth in the large compartment. I also fit my note 9 phone, small wallet and car key in the small side zipper pocket, and a standard 8 oz dr brown's bottle in the mesh bottle pocket. Guys the big seat zipper pocket was not even full. It was maybe 2/3 lightly packed. I probably could have fit a portioned formula container in there for a longer outing. Any baby device that allows me to avoid carrying a bulky diaper bag is a major win. I couldn't see myself paying 60-90 dollars for it though so I searched for the one that had the best mix of storage capacity, waistline expansion, price, and baby comfort/security. This one has it all. For those plus size moms out there, this one fit me great and I'm an hourglass shaped size 16/18. My waistline may not be as wide as most as I'm more hippy but I was able to get the velcro to stick comfortably and also expand the buckle strap to fit. Some other similar products had much shorter waist expansion capability or didn't mention expansion range at all. This one is a winner. My only word of caution: buy the dark colored one. Khaki color showed some formula spots I got on it glaringly. Wish I had gotten the dark blue. Otherwise, this baby carrier is the shizzle. My baby is almost 16 lbs so being able to settle him facing out (he's not quite comfortable with the spread the seat requires for his legs just yet for inward facing) with my one armed security hold was a back and arm life saver. I comfortably toted him around the house all evening with no crying jags from him and no interruptions in productivity for me. He contentedly looked around at the world and jabbered away while I washed dishes, made a pitcher of formula, filled bottles, put laundry in the washer, took out the trash etc. I felt like super mom and I haven't gotten that much done with an awake baby...ever.

Needs to be made a little larger for grandma and grandpa. I am post menopausal dumpy and have the typical middle section grandma bulge, but I am not huge and this went around my waist with not much room to spare. I measured and I am about 43-45 inches at my waist. Thank god for the snapping buckle as I only have about 5 inches under Velcro. Baby not here yet, but we will give it a try. Got it so the we can hold onto railing while holding baby going up and down stairs. A little tricky putting on by myself with frozen shoulder and arthritic hands, but I managed. Feels very supportive, will update actual use in a few months.

For background.. I have a very tall, little guy (90th% for his age). I'm 5'5" and he's already half my height and not a year yet. I have one of the baby wearers but he's too young for back wearing and to wear him in the front now properly he is just too big. I got this brand rather than a pricey option as a trial to see how it goes, based on reviews this seemed the best of the "less expensive" and I LOVE it. The pouch under the seat fits a small travel bag (you'd get for airport liquids), which fits 2 day diapers, travel pack of wipes, and a disposable changing mat),.formula dispenser, wallet, my phone.. teether, medicine.. you get the point, it's HUGE. There is also a pocket for more or less a wallet and phone or whatnot, but I wear him to my right so this puts that pocket at my back. .. not ideal, so I use it instead for his snacks and put my stuff in the big pouch. There is also a bottle holder which fits his bottles perfect plus room! I love this because we live in southern US, so I tend to put his bottle into a slim style can cooler with water until he's ready and I mix it up, which fits in the holder also. My back thanks me for better weight distribution, my body thanks me for not having both me and the babe a sweaty hot mess lol The only thing I wish were different were that the wallet style pouch could be moved, via a Velcro wrap or something. But it's not a huge deal. Absolutely love that I went with this option. More expensive doesn't always mean better!! But this for yourself or anyone having a baby.

My wife loves this waist seat when babysitting. Hands free is great.

Poor quality. I have the momcozy hip carrier and loved it, and wanted to get another hip carrier to keep in the car. This one is so cheap and flimsy. My baby weighs 27lbs and when he is on the seat, it bends under his weight. The belt is also not supportive enough compared to the momcozy one. It digs into my back and stomach no matter how high I put it on. It is cheap and poorly made. I’m returning this one and buying the momcozy or Tushbaby, it is worth the extra $$$

It does not worth the money because it does not actually support my back while carrying my baby. By using it for 10 minutes, it will hurt the area underneath the baby seat. It does not just hurt a little.
