BNC to F Connector, 5-Pack BNC Male to F Female Adapter, RG6, RG59 Coax Connector for Scanner, CCTV Camera

These adapters are perfect. I have a scanner that has a BNC connection on it. But I also have a ton of old cable TV coax already routed around the house. So I can put my antenna outside where I want it and the coax is already run inside. I just needed an adapter from cable TV coax to BNC connector. Is this the absolute best coax for a digital scanner? Probably not, but it does exactly what I want it to do. These adapters are a lot less expensive than re-routing a bunch of coax around the house.

I used these for my cable connectors. These are very good and solid product. Easy to use. You will need the crimping tool, the result will be perfect. It is some what pricey....

These are well-made male BNC to female F connectors that have a good, tight contact mechanism for the 75 ohm RG-6 center conductor, which is critical to a reliable connection. I used them to extend a Swann digital security camera to about 120' using Tri-shield RG-6 coax cable. The system only came with 60' cable. Worked perfectly. Just be aware that the connection, particularly on the BNC side, is not weatherproof. If it's done outside at the camera, it needs to be inside a splice box of some sort, or sealed with heat shrink or wrapped with a mastic or rubber sealing tape. Electrical tape does nothing but hold in the moisture that will get through it. I've been there. I've got 40 years in CATV outside plant and headend network wiring, so I've seen plenty of crappy connectors. I would have had no problem using these in that work.

Good spring force when inserting BNC male on to BNC female connector. Not too tight, and not loose enough to permit accidental rotation or disconnection. F-female end provides good contact to RG59 male fittings for low impedance continuity. Well made and durable appearing. Good to have a few in the parts kit for unexpected RF connection issues.

Got an old DVD/FM receiver and it had the weird BNC connector for an FM antenna. Adapter fit perfectly and molded my antenna's coax to this BNC perfectly. Now I get all my FM stations.

The adaptors were good value at the price I bought them. The genuine Amphenol connectors are better, but these ones did the job just fine. I'd buy them again!
