NKJV, Value Outreach Bible, Paperback: Holy Bible, New King James Version

Just what I needed

This is a good value (in terms of price) economy Bible. I bulk buy these for evangelical purposes by placing them in key public areas along with the correct plan of salvation: 1. A person must hear the word of God. 2. A person must believe what he/she hears. 3. A person must repent of their sins. 4. A person must confess Christ to others. 5. A person must obey the Gospel by being baptised by being fully immersed in water. 6. A person must live and remain faithful unto their death. Just saying a prayer asking Jesus to come into your life or to save you is not enough and is not taught in the Bible. I will be placing future orders.

Only downside, if I really want to find one, are the fonts; they are quite small. If you go for a premium Thomas Nelson bible instead, the fonts are much more legible. However, at this price, this version retains the reliability of the Textus Receptus, while providing a more modern English than the KJV (with obviously pros and cons).

This version is produced by Thomas Nelson, so Google search can find these versions, and then we can see the prices vary. Amazon deals affect the way we choose which NKJV to buy. Some offer us a discount for buying 4 copies. Prices will change during the year. Sometimes we buy a Holy Bible just because of the price, or the font size, or the number of pages, or simply the front cover. Here is another OUTREACH Holy Bible. I prefer the LARGER PRINT VERSION, but prices have increased to way beyond being considered as excellent value. How do I see the text? A long time ago, I thought I might as well buy reading glasses with a suitable magnification for general computer use and for these OUTREACH Holy Bibles. I use the READYSPEX G45 rectangular reading glasses with the 2.25 magnification option. This is how I can type the text right now. Other reading glasses have slightly different rectangular design shape glasses that I found weren't as user-friendly. Otherwise, itext is a blur in regard to what's on my large screen PC monitor and it's one of those 27" wide-angle monitors. At times I use the increase web page font size using CTRL+ the NumPad's + key or CTRL plus the NumPad's - key to get smaller font sizes. Not everyone has 20-20 vision and we need to be able to read text and to recite it as well. Even more so for me, as I write poems for Revelation TV and the poemhunter website. I need to edit, recite and edit again. So look at each Amazon book and its font size such as 7, 8, 9 and 10 sizes info and pay what suits you. Also consider the more flexible hardcover Holy Bibles as I did recently. I bought an American Standard Holy Bible which is easier to open the pages and then to read from the very start to the very end of the lines... Some paperbacks have very small page margins at the central section itself. In fact, I spoke to the Bible Society here in the UK about this problem in the hope that future Holy Bibles would provide wider page margins instead of us pressing back the paperback's pages just to study the text. Some customers visit Christian Bookshops to hold each version of their Holy Bibles to test the weight, the easiness of reading the text, as well as the font size. Some prefer the words of Jesus in red. So it really does help when buying our own Holy Bibles. These ones are OUTREACH Holy Bibles meant for general distribution helping to save costs. Those under £4 may be considered the better option that the larger print ones costing £5 or even £6 or even more. Check for various extras such as prayers and a Plan of Salvation or a Bible study plan. Check YouTube for reviews of different versions and for those in UK English and spelling and not just the modern USA versions.

Arrived on time and as described

I would prefer a more exciting front cover yet I would also point out how easy it is to damage the cover. I usually buy when I get a discount but a damaged book destroys the discount straight away. If possible, it is wiser to buy a typical large print hardback Holy Bible instead to protect the flimsy pages within. This applies even more when buying several items.

This is a nice and economical way to get the word of Christ out to many. Very easy to read NKJV edition. Pretty cover with ocean on front to grab attention to want to pick it up. Good quality and good value.

Best purchase yet

Beautiful simple and affordable BIBLE. Its a perfect Gift for a new believer, an unbeliver or simply to hand out to those who will eventually need it. The paper quality is fine not sure what some other comments have complained about. The Bible is LIGHT and opens flat. The font size is 8 point. More than adequate for reading. 5 out of 5 stars. The free addition of a New Testemant, to hand out to whoever is a beautiful touch. Thank you JESUS
