It takes away some of the mystery & fear of taking on figure conversations and even scratch building to personalise figures to bring your vehicles to life. Addresses painting of faces and uniforms and simplifying the amount of paints being used to get the best from your models with the minimum of effort.Very happy with the purchase, highly recommended and whats even better, its very reasonably priced and top quality.

I build models and I've been trying to push the envelope with my skills and this book is a good reference to learn techniques to do more than basics in modeling.I'd say if you are wanting to improve your modeling skills this is a book to have handy

Pour ceux qui veulent sortir des sentiers battus de la maquette, je recommande ce beau livre qui explique vraiment comment se démarquer des standards habituels du maquettisme. L' auteur y montre beaucoup de gestes simples qui feront de vous un autre.

The first 30 pages are great for everyone and I would recommend them. The cover painting faces and other useful tips. The remaining 80 pages are about sculpting figurines using mannequins. If you really want to sculpt figurines this would be useful otherwise......
