Stewart Freeze Dried Dog Treats, 100% Beef Liver, 2 oz Tub

I first encountered freeze dried liver dog treats for dogs at a local dog park. Didn’t give them much thought until looking to replace my previous dog treat that had lost its touch. My god, how my dog responds to these. It used to be ridiculous, but it’s toned down. They’re only made of one ingredient: beef liver. My dog loves them and it’s helped to train, partially, a difficult to train Boxer. They’re kind of dry and cut in random cube/rectangular like shapes with differing dimensions. They’re easy enough to chew for my dog with gingival hyperplasia, so they should work fine for dogs with varying sizes.

I feel good feeding these Freeze Dried Dog Treats the Beef Liver flavor. I think they are very healthy for my furbabies. They will sit and beg for these treats and their daddy cannot say no. I was worried my elderly yorkie would choke on them since he does not have many teeth but he does not have any problem eating these treats. I like the quality of these treats and I do not use these for training but the three of them have their daddy trained in giving the treats to them when their mommy is not looking.

I’ve ordered these several times and use them regularly for training and enrichment puzzles. They function as a high-value reward in our routine, especially for a food-motivated dog, without needing large portions. The freeze-dried pieces break apart easily and portion cleanly, which makes them practical for repeated rewards during longer sessions. My cat would chew through the cupboard for these treats. They’re good quality, and the treat size is fine for larger dogs. I tend to cut mine into smaller pieces to prevent choking when my cat inhales these. They smell horrendous, so I recommend storing in an airtight container. These work especially well for command training or bribing into a carrier.

My dogs love these. They seem had but they are easy to crush inyo a powder and put into both my dogs medicine compound I make to get them to eat their meds. Great product! Love that it only had one ingredient since my dog is from the south and is allergic to chicken. Great for training as well.

Really good dog treat, my dog loves them. Different sizes of treat, quite a bit broken and powdered but works well as a food topper. Great training tool!

This product is AWESOME! I have a boxer puppy who is not food/treat motivated and VERY picky. I have purchased and given away many different types of treats that he had either turned his nose up at or tasted and then spit out. These are crunchy, but easy enough that I am able to either break them with my fingers or cut them. I have seen other reviews that stated that they smell burnt or have made their dog sick. This is not my experience and he has been getting these as a training treat on a daily for about a week now. I use small pieces and sparingly. He is so motivated by these treats that he has begun to walk next to me and will check-in (look up at me) while we are walking in hopes that a treat is coming. As long as things continue on this track, I will continue ordering.

I received the Gimborn Beef Liver dog treats through Amazon recently and was looking forward to using them,because in Australia, all the treats crumble so easily, so this seemed like a great product. I got them in good time, opened them with excitement and nearly fell over with the smell that evolved from the container once opened. It was revolting. I thought maybe it is just me...so offered my dobermann a treat and she just pulled her head away... The manufacturers of this stuff need to look long and hard at changing the aroma of the product. I know it is preservative and chemical free but maybe they need to get the liver from beef on a different pasture..;-)) It is just not the slightest bit enticing for the dog. So it went straight into the rubbish bin. I couldn't stand the smell in the house any longer.

These are superb, my sossidge dog goes crackers when the tub comes out, and she starts drooling when the lid comes off, they are all natural, and not fattening, I am disappointed that These are not available in the UK or I would’ve bought half a dozen tubs, it would’ve been five stars apart from the fact they are imported, and the cost is slightly prohibitive, if you do splurge out on this, your dog will love you forever.
