So far I love my new comforter. It's cool and heavy and very comfortable. I've been sleeping very well since I received it. It's gotten hard to get out of bed but I do go to bed early now.

I travel for business and several times had been interested in purchasing hotel room bedding, which always seems better than what's at home. I always stopped short of doing so on Amazon because I would be deterred by reviews saying that the product was not the same as the hotel bedding after all. Confused by why the discrepancy I just stayed away. I went back and forth and finally went ahead with a purchase. So, big reveal: is this authentic Marriott bedding or not? In my opinion, No, it is not. It is good quality and comfortable and a good purchase, but feels different than hotel bedding. For one thing, it's not as lightweight, and for another the tags on the bedding are from a different company than what I saw on Marriott bedding tags. In summary, I give this product 4 stars because it's comfortable, but I am disappointed that it does not feel like the same product. Too bad, because if it were I'd go ahead and buy more items like pillows, but I'd only do so if they were the same. Hope this helps address the controversy in reviews of whether the product is comparable to hotels.

At a recent stay at a Courtyard by Marriott I checked all edges of the comforter on the bed looking for a tag. I said, I'm getting one of these. I was really surprised to find them on Amazon! I bought the king size for my queen bed. It's super lightweight and does not sleep hot. Hope it fits in my washer!

Ordered my Marriott bedding here on Amazon to get free shipping, no free shipping on Shop Marriott and no free returns there either. That was a BIG mistake. When you order Marriott on here is it still shipped and sold through Marriott. So when my pillows came and one had a whole seam section not sewed shut and I tried to exchange/return it, all I got was the run around. Amazon customer service said that Marriott had to process the return, Marriott told me I had to do it with Amazon. Back and forth, back and forth. Today, after everything they were trying to get me to go through I decided it was better for me to just sew up the freaking pillow myself and just keep it. Be for-warned that returning ANYTHING to Shop Marriott is a nightmare and you will lose money because you have to pay to ship it back yourself. To be fair, Amazon did offer to pay for me to ship both my pillows back to Marriott and see what they said and if they decided to not process the return that I would have to file a claim with A-Z claims or something stupid. Marriott only accepts returns of either defective items or items in original packaging that can be resold. I don't have the packaging for the one good pillow we planned to keep. So if I send back, I have no pillows AND my $200 is in limbo while I "try and get it back", as the agent told me. Screw that. I am done with Amazon after this, we let them monopolize everything too long anyways.

We only received this comforter 2 weeks ago. Best one we have ever bought in our 61 years of marriage. We actually got to try it out at a Marriott Hotel and bought it through Amazon. It is amazing and we absolutely love it.

So comfortable, I want to sleep in. So many Marriott stays that I had to have at home and it doesn't disappoint.
