Standard marine stuff for covering unused cut-outs in bulkheads and also for backing plates. Probably makes pretty good hatch slides as well, though I don't know if it's as slippery as high density plastic. Good price.

I ordered this because I needed a small plastic panel to cover some holes when retrofitting some electronics on my boat. The panel was shipped in a manilla envelope, but didn't experience any issues with shipping.The board came with 3 sides rough cut, with obvious saw marks. If you are expecting to have visible edges, you will need to plan to finish the edges yourself. The board came with protective film covering most of one side of the plank (one inch along one side was not covered in the film), and no covering on the other. It seems to me that this was likely a scrap piece that is sold from a larger or another project.Overall, the piece was sufficient for my needs. I had to sand the rough sawn edges so i could run a router over the edges without picking up the texture of the rough cut. Since my project only had one side showing, I was not concerned about the missing protective film on the other side. It was good enough for my project.
